electronic stability control problem in the lexux GX460

Sounds like how my last car used to behave when it came to VSC. It was so useless, you would think it wasn't even there.

I doubt that issue with the Lexus would occur in any other cars. It's most likely caused in that car by a combination of how the yaw-rate sensor is placed in the car in combination with the driving characteristics. I guess this stuff takes a bit of design work to make it operate properly and they probably didn't get it 100%.

Anyway, VSC is a driver aide and shouldn't be relied on to save your a55. It should be more of a last resort if anything.
