Sportivo standard deck how to fastforward a CD ?

Recommended Posts

Ok guys this might sound really stupid and i apologize in advance if this is something that is blatently obvious that i couldnt figure out.

I was given a CD the other day of a lecture which was all burnt onto 1 track all 74 mins of it. So i was trying as all hell to try and forward to the middle but for the life of me couldnt .....

Each time i press the track seek button it obviously starts from the beginning again... So i thought maybe its like other stereo's where u hold the track seek button but still no good and starts all over again .....

So im poseing the question is there any way to fast forward during a track on a CD using the standard 6 stacker deck other than going from track to track ?

cheers

Bill

Hey Bill

Try the #2 button. There should be a little 'right' arrow above it and a 'left' arrow above #1....push and hold the desired button :)

Hold down the track select button.. it will beep, then fast forward or rewind. depending on which one your holding down

If you have a specific time you want to go through, keep pressing the TEXT button, until it gives you the elapsed time, then fast forward as necessary.

This is how it works on my levin, unless sportivos have a differnt stereo.
