Its a 79 fj45 ute in reasonable condition and quite original. my first assignment is to get rid of the drum brakes, buy new rear springs and some nice alloys .

so first with wheels and tyres what have you got on your cruiser that worked and pictures would be great. Im pretty sure most people seem to be running a 15x8 inch rim is that correct? what size backspacing seems to work keeping in mind will disc brakes require more than drums to have clearance?

where is the best place to buy rear springs? i only do light bush work and some highway.

whats the best way to go about disc brakes. does someone do a conversion kit or am i better off buying complete axles form the wreckers from a newer cruiser?
