Klugger Grande 2011 Update - Modifications?

Recommended Posts

I'm new to this forum having previously had a range of Ford performance cars (and still do), but now the owner of a new Kluger 2011 update model GRANDE.

I am having trouble finding information on the forums on modifications/improvements for the Klugger etc…. I have been a significant contributor for a couple of the ford forums but cant seem to locate the info here.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

Open to any improvements such as cold air intakes, extractors, exhausts, suspension modifications, , wheels, AV items etc…

Maybe you can look for Aurion modifications. As its the same engine, I think there may be some overlap of modifications.

I haven't looked into it though so I could be wrong.

Sorry, I don't think that's what he's asking for.

As a 1 week Kluger owner there not into making them perform, mostly making them safe & wonder about fuel econ or what accesssories can be had.

Compared to Ford it's all soft ***** stuff.

Maybe that's me now too. 52 next week.

Wheels are always a good start. Check out my pics in this forum but be careful and check what the extra on your insurance premium will be before you make any changes. Modifications can sometimes void your insurance and you may need to change providers.Always get a quote before you go ahead.

I seen it, the NEW KLUGER driving just part the monash freeway, lots of chrome on the back similar lights on the rear but the big difference is the front lights, looks like prado lights and landcruiser with the lumpy plastic that sticks out but it has been squished, its now more like a mitsubishi triton sized lights...couldnt see if they where hid or projection headlights but otherwise it looks similar.

Yes - the Kluger doesn't seem to cop much modification from what I have seen. There are some that have gone for aftermarket rims and lowering, but can't recall seeing any performance mods.

As already mentioned you could get some info from Aurion modification for cold air induction, extractors/exhaust etc.. Otherwise, you could always be the first and provide us all with some results from your testing.
