Greetings fellow earthlings,Im a new member to your forum who has just become the owner of a 1993 Toyota Camry sedan. (SDV10R 4 cyl 2.2 ltr).I am looking at restoring said beast just for something to do.I havent had much experience with EFI vehicles to date and before I go too far down the rebuild path I need some assistance/advice on a small problem,ie: the engine will start and idle ok but when the accelerator is depressed the engine revs will repeatedly surge and drop, I suspect the fuel pump/pressure but would appreciate some words of wisdom prior to purchase of test gear to prove it.Thanks for reading this woeful tale.Rod.

Welcome rod.......ummmm before going straight to the fuel pressure (could be as little as the filter or whatnot) check the condition of the injectors, sparkies and the like, could be easy as that...(hopefully)

Good luck, Fidz.
