Replacing Shifter Bushings

Hey guys

Was reading the DIY on replacing your own shifter bushings but wasn't 110% confident to perform it on my car yet. I was wondering if anyone on the forums actually took photos or would be kind enough to upload photos of the step by step procedure on completing this DIY. Also as for the bearings must they be a specific size or am i able to use any skateboard bearings? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Simple

No pics but just remove the circlip, then remove the old rubber bush, and put washers n bearings as it tells u on the DIY.

As for specific size not sure

Bearings are a standard skateboard/scooter/rollerblade bearing.

It's easy done just buy some beers and take it one step at a time mate you'll be sweet as

Yeah its quite straight forward. Just take the catch can off and you'll see the shifter bushings, its pretty self explanatory from there. very little can go wrong, if you take your time

sweet thanks guys, are you able to purchase the bearings at bunnings or must you go to a skate shop? and for the guys who've actually done this DIY is it way alot smoother and worth doing.
