Hey guys,

Im new to this club as you can see, and i would like some help on exhaust systems for a 7afe. I know that the 7afe isnt a performance engine and i dont want it to be, im just asking on what a good system is to make it sound better than what it is now lol.

I would also like to ask on what brand/s you recommend using.

Thanks

2 is good enough

No brand to recommend, as long as it is using 304 steel, and the welding job is good.. Mine is custom made

If you can put headers, thats good..

Aftermarket Headers, not only it is bigger, but it will create a vacuum effect to suck air from the engine. Each cyclinder got a different timing of firing. so the header length is designed based on the cyclinder firing order...Header cannot be custom made easily, have to be off the shelf

Mine exhaust is too expensive, not recommend to you.. it is http://www.hitechmufflers.com.au/

thanks for the info, appricate it :)

Sorry for being a bug, just another question that came into mind. The heat wrapes for the headers? Are they worth getting?

Thanks once again

2" is good enough. Maybe just get a decent straight through muffler, cat and headers. Keep the rest standard.

Just don't go putting a fart cannon on there. You will hate it eventually anyway.
