I have just bought 1991 Celica GT Four Turbo for my first car and was wondering whether anyone was selling rear struts, or if anyone new of the item code/number for them?

Supercheap Auto dont stock them and neither do they order them from their suppliers anymore :(

car must be out of fashion..... if supercheap cant order them; but i heard australia only shipped 77 from japan when they were manufacturing them... probably reason why

Any help appreciated thanks

77 GT4's god no, there were many, many more than that.

They might have been referring to the CS edition GT4, of which there were 150 sent to aus.

as for rear struts, try ordering from repco or a suspension place. I purchased some about 18 months ago and they were still available. No reason they wouldn't be now.

Supercheap are sh*thouse for getting parts anyway.

There were 77 ST205s imported by Toyota Australia for sale here and all are individually numbered (as they were a part of the official 2500 WRC homologation models, which is why they had all the good bits), which could be what the guy was thinking about, but they were all '94-'95.

As Mick said, try somewhere other than Supercheap - if you're car doesn't start with Comm or Falc then the odds of being able to order something in through SCA drops dramatically, places like Repco/Bursons/AutoOne actually take notice of what you drive and are more than willing to accommodate.
