Greetings,

My name is Gavin. I live in Beaudesert, Qld. I have always been a Toyota enthusiast, Corolla's in particular. I was driving my old man's '74 KE30 3dr when I first got my licence. I then purchased a sky blue '83 KE70. From there I upgraded to a '84 AE71 Spirit and then to a '90 AE92 Seca which now belongs to my sister.

I have a '04 Camry Sportivo 5sp as the family car, which I might say serves it's purpose perfectly

Now my pride and joy is a '72 KE20 Corolla SE. I purchased the vehicle in August 2010 and have since spent my time restoring and modifying the car. It is some what like an early Corolla hybrid now.

The car is a Nov 1972 ADM 2 door sedan, originally willow green in colour. 1166cc 3k 4sp. Akebono front disc brakes and a Borg Warner 4.111 differential. I understand I am the third owner of the vehicle. And might I say it was in a right state when I bought it. After almost 2 years the car is almost ready to hit the road. Here's the makeup.

Colour: Blue Star Saffire

Wheels: 13x5.5 Cheviot Mesh

Engine: Toyota 5K (bored 0.02" to 1566cc)

Exaust: Hurricane 4-1 extractors & 2" mandrel bend system with 15" glasspack muffler

Driveline: K50 5speed, Exedy Sports Tuff clutch, Shortened KE55 tailshaft & BW 4.11 diff

Suspension: Shortened KE20 struts, Boges VW MK1 short stroke inserts, 55mm Kings Springs, 2" lowering blocks, Boges Gas shocks (by Southside Suspension)

Brakes: KE70 rotors, Girlock Calipers. 229mm rear drums. Bendix pads.

Interior: Reupholstered with black vinyl and 2010 Ford lighting pattern, restractable seatbelts, cut pile carpet, AE92 gear boot, O.B.A steering wheel.

Here's some pics.

Wow she's a beaut , It looks perfect but I think it needs some Watanabe's ;)

Excellent work....

I've got some Superlights in the garage but the stick out the guards a little, so once its on the road i'll get them on. It could use some flares though.
