Hi, I have a 1998 hilux that I have had since new been a graet vehicle, never broken down have done 400,000km and we are planning a trip to the eastern states in the old girl. I have been having some minor issues that I would like to get right before the treck. Am I on the right forum for some advice?

Gday mate, I use to own a 1998 hilux aswell and it never missed a beat, mine had the 5L diesel, not overly powerfull, but reliable and pretty toquey down low, sometimes I wish I had kept the old girl.

This forum is a great place to start with any questions regarding the hilux, there is a few members with hiluxes on here and some with some mechanical knowledge, also the 4wd action web site another great place for information, there heaps of information on hiluxes and mods, that members have done to travel around this great country.
