Hi all,

I have a 2008 Toyota Aurion that currently has one of them ebay DVD units in it.

I purchased a Kenwood DDX4031 to install into the car.

Thinking I would need a steering wheel control harness to keep my steering wheel buttons working, I purchased one of them AERPRO plug and play systems.

Actually this one here:

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Toyota-Aurion-Camry-2007-STEERING-WHEEL-CONTROL-HARNESS-ISO-PATCH-LEAD-/251052798514?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3a73e9b232&_uhb=1

What I have now realised is that the Kenwood DDX4031 apparently has 'Direct OEM wired remote control' which means I did not need a separate control.

Seeing as though I have already purchased the AERPRO unit; and it is apparently a 'plug and play unit' meaning I don't have to cut and splice into anything, I am wondering whether I can just use the AERPRO unit with the Kenwood, even if it has its own built in steering control system?

Also if using a steering wheel interface do you still need to ground the pink wire to keep the 'display'

Button working?

Cheers,
