I have fairly recently bought an 80 series, so I'm not too knowledgeable. I am retired and I live in Coburg, Victoria but one of my daughters lives in the West Kimberley so I am a pretty frequent traveller to and fro the Gibb River Road. I have joined this forum to expand my knowledge of my vehicle.

Hi peter welcome to the forum mate, the 80 series are a great old truck, another great forum to have a look on is the 4wd action web site there are heaps of info on the 80 series and can offer advice on any question you might have.
