Toyota Prius - 2010 - 12 volt battery life time

Recommended Posts

  • 10 months later...

I know exactly when the 12 volt battery fails.

It took my Prius I-TECH 9 years and 9 month to come to a full stop ( did not start)

Car had 240 000 km on the clock.

The 12 volt normally goes before the HV battery.

Battery is not too easy to get.

NRMA Batteries does not carry them in the vans.

Jump starting is possiple to get home . It is done from the front and not at all on the 12 volt battey in the back
