Heated Mirrors

I have a 2009 KX-S and was wondering if anybody has tried or knows whether heated mirrors (genuine Highlander parts) from the US/Canada are a plug and play option for the Australian Klugers?

Being in Tassie, it's one of the things I noticed moving from the VW that I miss. Frosty mornings aren't a lot of fun.

I like the idea that I press the rear window heater and it does the mirrors too.

Has anybody modded their own? I've watched some youtube of DIY kits etc and to be honest I can't be bothered with all that - creating relays and switches.

If the wiring harness is standard and it's only the actual mirror assemblies that are different it may be worth importing some from the States.

Do the Grande's have heated mirrors?

Cheers

Jimma
