Daughter just bought her first 4WD,prado 2010 6sp manual 4cyl turbo diesel.Being female and cautious i agreed to ask questions n we'll both learn.

She bought it from a country dealer who both sold it new in his district and again to my daughter 3 weeks ago.so we're pretty sure its never hit any beaches.

Id like to ask please,it HASNT got a 4wd/2wd lever but it has a knob from Hi / lo 4wd.

Can i assume its permanent 4wd ??

Its a 4cyl turbo diesel ,lots of power im surprised by how well it cruises on the highway.

Ive got her booked into a 4wd school classes so she has a better than average chance of reading the terrain.

I need advice on permanent 4wd or how does she get 4wd ??

TY Robby N
