Hi all

I bought a 2005 Hiace Commuter, and need to lower the headlights to pass inspection and get rego. Hoping someone here can help me!

I figure it should be easy to adjust without having to pull much apart, as you need to be able to check with the lights on etc.

I found the drivers side one (eventually.. I must be half-blind as well). But it didn't have the same on the passenger side. It is harder to get to on passenger side, and different, some black part that doesn't look easy to adjust, and not sure if it even adjusts or is fixed. I also don't want to force something and break it, making it harder to pass the inspection...

I've attached photos of lights so you can see what kind of lights they are.

Can anyone tell me how to adjust the height of headlights on the passenger side? I'm not really very car savvy... And given it took a while for me to notice it on the driver side, maybe I just need someone to help me see the obvious...

Thanks!

I ended up taking it to a Toyota dealer, and they fixed it for me for free. Sounds like it was the black knob in the photo. They said it was a bit hard to get to. He said needed the right tools. I think he said he had to use a ratchet spanner and hit it or something..!
