Hey guys I’ve recently purchased a 99 75 series 1hz NA land cruiser. On the first morning of owning it I started it up and it laboured a little then idled fine around 600rpm. Once I took off I had no acceleration and it was lumpy and struggling before slowing dying. Then next start was very hard I had to crank it over while pushing the throttle down to get it to run then it would not idle without my foot on the throttle. Also when I push my foot flat down it will not pick up revs over about 1500 and bellows white smoke. It does this for a random about of time before finally picking up and going then it drives perfectly all day. This only happens in the mornings or when the car has been sitting overnight or for a few hours. I have changed glow plugs and they are all working fine. I’m stumped on what to do next cheers.
