Oil Filter - which one to use?

Recommended Posts

You can also try the TRD Sports oil filter. This allows you to change your oil every 6000 km as opposed to every 5000 km if you were using the OEM filter. Here's a link to it:

I do mine every 1,000kms now and i use OEM filter. Certain car manufacturers now like Subaru has extended service intervals like servicing occurs only every 15,000kms. I reckon thats great not to mention their new car warranty is for unlimited kms which is great for people that drive over 35,000kms per year.

I'm sure he means 10,000

I've only ever changed oil at 5,000 once every other time it was after 6 months (~7-8000 kms for me). I';ve also nexer has issues of the oil darkenning to need it to be changed either.
