1zzfe diff whine

Hi all,

I have a 03 conquest and have notice a slight diff whine while crusing. It's not too loud, but it is noticeable when the radio/music is off.

Has anyone else that owns a 1zzfe notice this?

Is this normal?

Yeah I've noticed it too.

Only very slight noise.

your cv's can make a similiar whine too if they havent been greased properly

mine is not so much a diff whine, but a gearbox whine..... in first and second when driving slowly maintaining low speed...... ie, in carparks.

If you're maintaining speed, it's most probably diff whine.

My 1ZZ has minor diff whine at about 58 km/h. This is deemd an acceptable level for this model - I just turn the music up.
