Replacement Sensors for 94 Camry SXV10R

Our Camry was coughing and spluttering and would lose power, it also was using a lot of fuel. The check engine light came on and threw error code 31, MAP sensor. We managed to find a secondhand MAP sensor and cleared the code. This seemed to fix the problem for a while, but it comes back intermittently. We have also noticed the O2 sensor is often dirty with the car is running badly but when it is running ok the sensor is clean.

We are hoping to replace the MAP, MAF and O2 sensors but we are struggling to find aftermarket ones especially at a price that isn't too steep. Does anyone know if there is somewhere that has them?

Also we have been told that these cars have a CAM Shaft Position sensor and a Crank Shaft position sensor, also that the crankshaft sensor is located in the dizzy. Is this correct?

Sorry for so many questions, but this is starting to drive us nuts!

Also the vin plate says this is a 1996 Toyota built in Australia, but when looking for parts we have found it is more accurate to search it as a 1992 or 1994. Just to make things more interesting!

Any info you have would be greatly appreciated!!

Remove maf sensor and spray with electrical contact cleaner (do not use non flammable one in eats certain plastics) you can buy maf sensor cleaner although this does exactly the same job half the price and still reside free….failing that if you require new sensor I use auto parts online or rolan 👍

SXV10 5SFE doesn't have a MAF sensor, just MAP.

It does have both a MAP and a MAF sensor.

It doesn't, you're probably confusing the intake air-temp sensor (fitted to the airbox) with a MAF sensor (since most MAF sensors have the IAT built in to it)
