A cheap little mod for those with a standard model 105.
The GXL models have the outside temp in the display on the left side next to the clock.
The standard models it's blacked out but the display is still active under the blacked out section.
So to have this you'll need. to buy the Outside air temp sensor. About $20 on Ebay/Aliexpress etc.
There is a connector in behind the front bumper on the RHS(mine was hidden up under the plastic inner guard protector)
Connect the sensor into that and cable tie it up so it's not getting hot air from the engine bay.
Next remove the dash centre and disassemble the clock/switch/control from behind until you have the clock display out.
The lead/blacked out plastic may be stuck down.
Then you need something like rubbing alcohol or similar to wipe/scrape the black coating. DO NOT USE ACETONE!!(don't ask me how I know)
Once you have the black coating removed and neatened up to look factory
You could also just find some thin clear plastic(fruit juice bottle) and paint a black section same as that to the right of the clock and use that

Reinstall the dash.
Turn on the ignition and you're done. The outside temp will be displayed

Video on how to do it here
