Hi all, I’m undertaking converting my 2015 Kluger (series 1 pre-facelift) to the 2018 (series 2 facelift) using mainly free/ salvaged parts to make it financially viable.

All parts fit however, it seems Toyota changed some of the lighting harnesses between series 1 & series 2. Nothing I can’t overcome with some basic DIY, but the indicators (both front and rear) change from 2 wires to 3 (see pics).

Can anyone advise what the 3rd wire is for? Relay? Ground? Signal? And how should I wire these considering there is no provision for the 3rd wire from the 2015 harness?
