hi there guys ,my name is jeremy and i live in south africa..

i have wat we call a toyota runx rsi..url may know it as a rolla..it has a 2zzge motor which throws about 141kw. ....

i have been reading alot on this forum and your guys really have fun...

i have seen a jdm spec of a head light that i like..wanted to find out how much it is?

our forum here in sa is.www.twincamclub.co.za visit us ..we have some interesting posts.

im having a hard time convincing the guys back home(inland) +- 1600m above sea level that at the coast the rsi 141kw opens the new golf 5 gti...how about in aussie?

and do url have the compressor in aussie...we are really waiting to c if toyota will bring it into our country.

now that url know about my 2zzge motor...wat can i do to make it really quick maintaining it normaly aspirated?

another question...i have heard of haltec from aussie..how good is it? and martini race fuel...how good is it?

No Kompressor here.

Ive never dragged a GTI, but I think they are pretty simular. I was reading a copy of motor magazine and they did a test run doen the quarter and I think it did a 15.4

Ive only been to the track and I did a 15.3, other on this forums get mid to high 14s, bangn got a 14.46 quarter with a few small mods. But I sure a worked GTi will destroy a corolla.

Anyway I imagine stock for stock they are simular, with the GTi being a better car but with a much higher price tag (i.e 15K plus more than the stivo).

The JDM headlight mod is custom, ZAV set up a DIY on the forums so look in the Inside/Out section.

guys please be so kind in sharing mods to this car...plz i want to mod my car but i dont know where to start.dont want turbo or gas yet but just the small mods that help the 2zzge motor....

i had a 20v 4age motor (rxi) at our drags stock std..i ran a 15.3sec..

please help guys

yer that ZAV guy was a legend in his own leauge LOL the custom MOD master so yer i copied him a few times and got my JDM!! lights!!!

      Where is the remote receiver on a 1998 Camry

      Hi legends, I recently bought Camry 1999, and I'm trying to repair everything I can. Car came with one fob (famous unbreakable thingy, with button cover gone and flat battery of course). I have managed it to open and I choose the way to put the battery out of the pins - done, without breaking it. I bought CR2032 and put it into a place. Nothing, nothing happens while programming mode activated. Battery is in contact and button seems to be working fine (you can hear clicking). Then I simply gave up and tried to looking for new Integration Relay... one day I met bloke explaining him what am I after and he told me he has 1 fob at home but its from Corolla. OK let's give it a try. I set car into programming mode and after the procedure 3x on/off, etc... I got flashers slowly blinking but only 2 times. I started to getting happy 🙂 but at the end Corolla fob does not work at all, but at least I got some response from car... Any ideas? I want to avoid buying a new fob for 100$... Cheers! Martin

      Toyota estima raised suspension

      Toyota Landcruiser problems

      Ah yes . Oh what a reaming..... Toyota.!! I had an aftermarket electric tailgate opener fitted $1500. Closes the door from inside and out. Mines a vx. Reverse sensors only turn off with toggle with "car and witches hat" on 300. They stay off till switched back on. I put my keys in the door pocket.the jingling almost drowns out the squeaking of the middle seats I sent a hand written registered letter personally addressed to the CEO of Toyota Australia and he did not have the decency to reply. Emails go ignored Toyota Lack of Customer Experience centre inept and uneducated regarding the legislation they are required to operate under. At least the 300 here didn't have the 3.5 TT petrol. Are you listening Toyota.??? NEVER AGAIN

      200 series after market 35 inch tyres

      Ive seen a 200 with them fitted on the weekend and they were on 17s (GXL). The owner was very sheepish to say the least to pass on the info what had to be done other than some panel work on the from inner guards. 0 offset (bead lockers) and 3 inch lift and he still had rubbing. He was going to do some more panel work to allow the rubbing to not tear up inner guard (alloy plate) but it made my 200 with 20's and 2 inch lift look like a baby sitting next to it...

      300 series turbo issues

      Hope I haven't posted twice but the issue is that this happens at all and the drop in torque and AFR off the chart when it does (7th injector problem??). By the time you notice it you're in a torque hole and your DPF is starting to cough coping with the lousy mixture. Nothing to do but push more fuel in and accelerate aou of it. It happens regardless of whether you notice it or not and regardless of whether you're towing. can't be doing the DPF any good. They're $7 grand to replace. They're still selling them and not telling anybody that this "design characteristic" is what to expect from your perfectly designed engine. Hopefully dyno report is attached. Ask what your service manager thinks and watch them squirm

      Putting 15" or 16" on will only make it slower, won't have the power to pull higher gearing, trust me I know, my cousin has one. He ended up putting a 4y/ 5speed in it

      300 series turbo issues

      I have since found when it happened again on steep incline, lift foot on accelarater pedal, drops a gear and then back on the gas an no issue as is out of the rev range approx 2200 where it happens. (This is all done in a second so not a drama at all now for me when it happens)
