toyota camry 2002 altise timing belt cost??

how much the cost to change camry timing belt?

because i found toyota camry altise pretty cheap. i wanna get it.

it has 125,000kms. but they haven't change the timing belt.

I think last time it costs me $60 for the timing belt.

are we talking about changing 1 belt or 3? cause there are 3 belts that you need to change, and it is recommended you change all 3 of them at the same time. last time it costs me $400 (or $480 I cant remember exactly) to changed all 3 of them (inc labour) <_< the labour was the most expensive thing, oh yeah, sorry now i remember the belt itself costs abour $40-60.

well you don't have to replace all 3 belts, but doing all 3 at the same time will save you alot of labour cost. (The timing belt, Steering belt and 1 other belt which i cant remember what its for)

oh yah, also if the camry has done more than 100,000km i recommend you to replace the shocks.

Is the 2002 Camry Altise a 4-cyl or V6???

If it is a 4-cyl, then the engine is chain driven. Only the V6 is belt driven.

I am a new member , just got a 2003 Camry Altise 4-cyl , would like to ask if it is chain driven , when I have to change it , my car just pass 70K kms.
