  1. ay sorry guys, going to be busy sunday, try and organise a date and ill try to make it if i can, im sure others out there know what to do too, ie peter :P

seriously its easy as pie, sticking them down is harder

OMG so true the double sided sticky tape is useless. so i just super glued it down. i plan to sell it with the car anyways

  2. Thanks guys.. I might try DIY... we'll see how it goes..

its easy if you aint spraying it.

i DIY'd mine, if you have a second hand one, there should be holes already on the lip,

what you do is take your mud flaps off, using one of the existing bolts, line the lip up and bolt it in.

to hold mine up at the centre i used the black silicon glue stuff

The thing is.... when i purchased my rear shirt, i wasnt provided screws and brackets. So i'll just need think of some way to hold it up properly. So, i've planned to get screws and lots of double sided tapes.... hehehe... that should do the job.

sorry for the late reply, with the double sided tape you could that that :) you would just need to retape it in the long run as in for screws, you use your original bolts that are holding your mud flaps, the holes on the ends of the lip should match up with one of the holes for the mud flaps

if you want i can take a picture of mine to show you

  3. i bought my stivo with a cruise control uint, looked like the previous owner DIY'ed his, it was shocking.

The bracket he used to hold up the extra throttle wire to hold at speed was some weak ***** metal so it easily bent.

When my friend was driving my car and he fanged it, the metal bent and it held the car at 5K RPM lol we thought we broke th car

anyways if you decide to do it yourself please use safe brackets and follow instructions and warnings.

my units a Rostra i think i saw them on ebay for $300 ~ $400

I plan to do alot more :) might even consider going turbo ahahahha

i've bought my wing tips already, waiting for a good day to spray and fit those :)

  5. i said they looked to be carmate because the side skirts and rear lips are the same types that you can find on the carmate website. besides that, the originals are usually heaps expensive and not as accessable to buy as opposed to carmates stuff. im not knocking the fact that theyre carmate parts if thats what youre getting at? ive got a carmate frontbar... still searching for the right place (besides carmate) to fit it right cos it just doesnt fit straight as it is now.

    look these up on carmate:

Toyota Corolla 2002-2004 Hatch "GI Style" Side Skirts

Toyota Corolla 2002-2004 Hatch "CW Style" Rear Lip

nah nah sorry lol didnt mean anything, i got a carmate rear lip, you just made me think the oem rear lip and the one from carmate are different. i was just puzzled.

  6. no wonder i see a chick driving it now. if i waved to her she wouldnt know wat the hell was goin on lol

anyhoo i spotted another silver corolla with bodykit, black rims with red pinstripe @6pm in the westfield mtdruitt carpark, JAE50N numberplate . anyone on here?

plus all up and down the great western i saw several corollas with what looks to be carmate kits on em.. couldnt get number plates but some had stickers on their rearwindows...

whats the difference between the car mate rear lip and a original?

  7. spotted black pre facelift sportivo with rear sportivo lip, eyelids and sports grill which really could do with a wash parked at canley heights,

also spotted a white prefacelift levin with sports grill which looked sexually clean parked in canley heights, these were around 10:30am

spotted red facelift with rear sportivo lip and i think the c-one front bar, the car was sex on wheels i swear, saw it cutting through liverpool, tried catching up >_< but got cut off at lights

  8. hi i have two questions, first is where are decent places to shop for struts and sways in sydney? i've heard of places interstate like bursons, i was wondering if there were any shops like that in sydney :)
