hmmm i see lol well when i get a chance im going to see how much damage it is, depending on that ill decide if ill just go for a new used motor or just a rebuild.

hmmm does anyone know how much roughly a wrecker motor would be?

hey so here is the short story,

heavy rain, poor visibility, knee deep puddle of water.. few hours later towing my car home :(

well im pretty sure my cars been hydrolocked, reds come on but doesn't crank..

now my question is would it be cheaper to do a engine swap or just to rebuild the motor.

I was thinking of rebuilding the motor and upgrading some parts since its opened but im not sure what else i need to replace besides a bent rod in a hydrolock situation, does anyone have any ideas on how much i will be looking at spending.

spotted at about 530pm at cabramatta woolies carpark, silver facelift stivo with wingtips... was horrified!.. saw a whole bunch of random stickers all over one side of the car on the doors. :o

oh i think it was, didnt look at the front but i remember seeing the back as it had facelift tailights and remember seeing in his thread that it was changed. lol

sorry yeah lol i think they were 6.5" its been a long time since i changed mine the rears are stock 4"

yeah you can fit 6" ones in the front with out modifications, you can reuse the black pod on the door, but for the rears if you want 6" speakers you would have to pop off the black pod make a spacer ring and drill holes into the door to hold the speaker.

ahhaha nah it was the cig fuse under the glove box which i never knew existed until dave told me lol

does anyone have any ideas why my clock would keep on resetting everytime i turn off the car?

yeah i checked all those fuses but they all seem to be ok :S

The fuse I pulled out was a 15 amp light blue one. Might need to double check as the break only has to be tiny; Or could put a multimeter on them while in place (there are exposed ends for this either side of the number).

It'll be one of the fuses behind the glovebox, I know because I've had to replace the exact same fuse before. There should be a spare of the same amperage there. To remove the glove box refer to my PowerFC installation guide for the Sportivo.

hey guys i own a 2003 sportivo and i've blown a fuse but i cant seem to figure out which one it is...

all i know, when i plugged something into the cigarette lighter something blew and now my cigarette lighter port, my head unit, the clock and the little screen below the clock doesn't work.

would anyone have any ideas?
