  1. been Spotting Red Facelift sportivo with Black painted/powdercoated stockies on Kent Road. North Ryde. Also had Eyelids, and was P plater. Parks there in the mornings and catches bus i think to city.

too much information i would say :)

and spotted tiet at work as usual

lol whats with you ZRE drivers and always going pass my work place

  2. lol, ya know how Michael sold the civic to chris?? i think that 1.6 goes hard for what it is.. 2zz turbo should get ya in the 12's aye? lol mad.. o are you going to do it.. or u going to get a performance shop to do it???

we talking about chris nguyen? lol yeah i know the b16a is a solid and good engine, guess thats why them and the d16y are good motors to turbo charge.

i was thinking about the same place bee got his K20 done,

Have you got a FAT wallet?

    Because you'll need one.

It will be cheaper to buy a WRX.

    Hmm... talk to Xoom.

yeah i know it would be cheaper buy a turbo car, if i wanted to i'd go skyline [GTR] :)

was trying to pm xoom with questions before this thread but some reason the pm feature is down?

if you can't DIY then the labour would most likely cost you more than the components required to do a low boost setup, which would be:

    -Turbo

    -Injectors

    -Modified sump

    -Custom oil feed

    -Custom return line

    -Custom turbo manifold

    -Custom intake and intercooler pipes

    -BOV

-Various silicone joiners, clamps, heater and vac hose

    -intercooler

    -ECU

    -clutch

    -Custom dump pipe

    -Heat wrap/sleeve

    -Wideband

    -Oil temp & boost guage

    -colder plugs

    -Tuning

That's over $5K worth of stuff just there, and that's not touching the internals at all, or taking into account the labour to make all the little brackets and actually fit the gear to the car.

Although if you ARE handy with metalwork and a TIG, mechanical and electrical work then it does cost significantly less. If you can't tune it yourself then you're also up for someone elses tuning services, and the good tuners tend to charge in excess of $200 an hour these days and will want your car for at least a day once all the mechanical work is complete and PERFECT.

im handy but i don't think im that handy, me and my friends can only go so far with the limit of tools and space from my garage,

but thats a big help for the research and planning process im in for :)

    thanks for the help

  3. spotted a pink sprinter pulling a small sized boat going across the intersection of the boulevade and hamilton in fairfield area

bro did u see the driver?? was he a asian dude??? if so it mite be my mate mino he has a 20v blk top in it...

lol nah, it was dark so i couldnt see :)

if your friend pulls his boat it must be him lol what are the chances of another pink sprinter pulling a boat

spotted a white 1ZZ with black rims, lowered and HID's going along cumberland across cabramatta road @ 8:15pm

spotted a old school GT-Z Supercharge corolla levin at the BP petrol station at the intersection of cumberland and cabramatta road @ 8:25pm

spotted a black sportivo, lowered, HID's, and i think it had C-One Wing Tips flying down the cumberland after turning from cabramatta road @ 8:30pm

what a 15mins i had -_- in between i saw a whole bunch of turbo cars and hondas lol

  4. also i dont know how low ur car is, but another reason why i choose to go genuine is because with fibreglass if i bottom out the kit will crack if fibreglass, where plastic wont!

for the extra money go genuine! =]

his got a point, lol i just try to be careful when i park the car :)

  5. yeah i think its just the people at carmate that give the bad rep, i was always told its an ok place to shop but not to get your car fitted, i remember one time when i went they had locked a customers keys inside the car and had to get him to come back with some spares -_-

well i got my rear lip from carmate, fitted and sprayed and even cut the exhaust area with a friend, it doesn't look like a car wreck well i don't think it does :)

    light3.jpg

between my car is a 03 sportivo just with facelift lights

  6. well since i work at woolies i like using vortex from caltex and when i feel rich and are already at a bp i use bp ultimate, i've only used bp for a month or so but to me they are the same :) if your talking about a difference in different companies but the same grade say 98. Octone there won't be a much of a difference, the only difference i have heard of is that bp is the only company that has removed ethonal from the ultimate please correct me if im wrong.

if your talking about the difference in the different grades then yes i guess it would, being the higher quality and grade would run better for the motor, though some motors can't handle the higher grade fuel.

  7. saw a silver lowered prefacelift sportivo with black rims silver polised lip with L plates in st johns @ 4:30pm-ish

    I think that was me ;) It's a Levin though :D

    Cheers

ahahah omg swear, nice ride man, i want to make my car look like that. would of swore it was a sportivo >_<
