Take ur car mate. We're trying to keep it as a car cruise. Already have a DC2 and WRX in here.. before you know it it'll be mini cooper, VL Calais, Ford XR6, Mercedes, Skylines... etc etc Okay guys!! We gota decide!! I thought we were happy with skyhigh??? Now we want BBQ?? Thing is, bbq area is quite nice.. secluded and open for us all but if weather is bad.. it'll be quite cold. and the bbq is not covered last i remembered. But there was other sheltered ares BBQ would be a cheaper alternative. We could still go Skyhigh being a touristy main attraction and check it out, nice views up there and then head to the bbq spot. And yes Skyhigh prices were pretty exorbetant. And for guys like pete and me.. at a bbq we'll need at least 8sausages. And if we bring gear for a bbq.. we're gonna have a bbq.. no changing minds then.. hail or snow or hurricane. lol Or even if we scrap it all and decide somewhere random on the day.. i dont mind.. but we mite have a few ppl turn up so deciding is key. Since we have a few asians in the house.. how about a kettle, forks and chopsticks and 200 packs of noodles? LOL! jks

Yeah. I think we have a plan settled. Either meet and drive straight to skyhigh and eat there or we could go skyhigh and go back to the secluded BBQ place and make our own food. Thing is, we gota bring the food with us. Chipping in is no problem. Would people prefer to just go and eat or have a bbq type thing? I reckon it'll be a bit of a hassle doing BBQ but thats me. Then afterwards we could stop by for a few shots or what not and end the cruise with a drive through yarra glen to kinglake for those who want to. Thanks for all the guys who made the effort coming out. I suggest bring warm clothes.. it was pretty frosty up on the mountain. Thats interesting but not surprising. Over on the Ford Terrritory forums owners are discussing how ECU "reflashes" or tunes are voiding warranty and other issues. Obviously, the tone in this forum is more positve towards getting the most out of our cars and not complaining about warranty issues (may be a demographic thing ie older owners v revheads), but you may want to be aware that any mods will more than likely leave you out on a limb when it comes to any warranty. Having said that how much more kw can we get from chipping a new corolla? dude, i installed Injen cold air intake.. my warranty is gone

Im thinking of taking my zre to a workshop to get it dyno tuned, in regards to the Injen CAI install. I feel like down low revs its a bit laggy and slower now. I want to get it tuned anyway.. because i know cai will change a/f ratio after install. Hopefully i dont get the CEL again. Plus i hope i hit 80kw @ the front wheels.. for a laugh! lol My question is.. can the standard ECU be tuned for running with my CAI? If say they reflash it, and tune it for CAI will it be hard-wired into the system? Wat if one day i take the CAI off and put back on stock??

Yeah i think.. another recon cruise is needed.. i mite meet up with pete one day and check things out and make a final decision and hope everyones cool with it. We could meet up say 11.30.. depart at 12.. drive up to skyhigh.. eat lunch and go somewhere for a nice cruise/drive.. because the dandenong mountain run will be too short and way too busy.. and i would like to have a nice open road that we can fill up on. But yeah.. we'll make that the meet point and departing point. End point to be decided still, im not fussed. can be wherever. let you guys know.. yeah cruise down that way wudnt be bad.. but i think we owe tash a cruise down her way first..
