Changed my VIP1 grill to the Lexus Grill from RS, got the unpainted one and colour coded it. Had mixed feeling about the looks.. hmm.. what do u guys think??

looks good... you could define it a bit more with not black but IMO some pearl white.... the red and white will mix well and kinda is the trd's colour.

Hhahaa. .. i can't do white.. my theme is black and red.. so have to keep most of it that way.. reckon red and white also pretty good combi though..

He is lazy when it comes to that.. ask him whether he has done his LEDs yet.. hahahah..

BTW Ingres if you want to get rid of your Lexus grill let me know. I could be tempted

Sorry Mikka, i am keeping the lexus grill, i am starting to like the looks of it.. slowly but it is growing on me.. hahaha.. i have a VIP2 grill if you are interested.. not in a hurry to sell though..

It does look good Ingres, however you need something to define it a little. Not sure what though. I reckon utilising some black or chrome may help.

The way I gauge something like this is to look at it slightly cross-eyed*. Then it becomes obvious what stands out and what blends in. The area around the grill (including it) looks a little too blended in.

Crazy me is thinking about colour coding it to black.. but seems too crazy to change it that soon.. not sure whether chrome will look nice with my current car.. if not the lexus grill which 51der got will be the answer to it.. kinda miss the VIP1 grill but i hope i will grow to love this new grill..
