Finally get the trims done.. 4 doors plus the two on the fronts.. now just left the ones on the steering wheel.. does anyone know whether it is held by screws or i can just pry it out.. i tried prying but can't seem to get it out..
-
Yep, damage to roadside furniture you have to pay for, hence why if you can, run!
And never hit a Telstra/Energex box, those things are like $12+k to fix/replace! Light poles/traffic lights are another expensive one.
Terryo might be interested; he seems to be mentioned in any talks about your car.
One question, are you covered by insurance when u hit the poles or traffic lights..?? or it is something u have to fork out on your own??

Well done Paradigm, actually i like yours better than mine. That looks really nice and neat.. let's see what other colours will turn up from other members when they decide to have a go at theirs..
-
Awww. You found a little critter in your car.
Less awww though is the fact you haven't caught him. As said, better find him quick. That one looks a bit scrawny and will probably be hungry. They do like to chew wires and this is not a good thing with your car.
I find it funny though that you got a photo of it... but let him get away. Priorities
I actually took a few photo's of it in the glovebox too, all snuggled up behind my multimeter.. AWWWWWW
Tried to catch him, but I lost track of him under the drivers seat. Oh well got a mouse trap and bait, see if the night turns up anything. Let this be a lesson to anyone who never chases after the dropped french fry between the seats.
Is there anyway a PEST remover can smoke out these bastards??

He is more interested in capturing the moment than capturing the mouse... *FAINT**...

I hit a roadside railing. My fault. Was not hooning or speeding.
Thank god you are ok.. sorry to hear that.. lets hope everything is sorted out fast.. all the best..

You guy's pipped my curiousity, and I liked the results. Doing all interior doorhandles now - much easier as they just pop off with a flathead. Also removing the doortrims isn't hard at all, I'll see if a guide has already previously been posted, if not I shall create one later.
Also pictured is an unexpected passenger who appeared in my glovebox of all places. Still haven't caught the mongrel, might be time to set some traps.
OMG u got a freaking rat in your car?? what u kept in your car?? Ya waiting for your door trim instruction before i start doing mine..

Final results of the carbon fibre vinyl. Looks absolutely fantastic in person, stoked with the results.
FYI The door strips are held on by screws from the back, hence requiring each door trim to be removed in turn.
Damn that looks awesome Steven, can u teach me how to remove the door trim??
-
Damn i love the lighting inside the car.. Nice.. !!!
-
I think I know what you meant Daryl... But I bet it's not good for my pocket..
May not be good for the pocket.... but boy will the results be more than worth it.
Me thinks your car is a perfect candidate for a turbo job ;)
This is the photo that makes me see the fast side of it. Despite it missing a few of the later mods, I'm sure the 'stance' would just give the same effect:
Vick, now u can see who is the REAL POISON .. it has to be Daryl ... hahahha..
-
FINALLY u got your own page.. welcome mate.. u have come a long way.. still a long long list of TO DO things.. hahahaha..
-
Hahahah... hopefully Vick can get it in time when i go to Sydney.. so that i can bring the items back to Brisbane and help others save some shipping..
-
Now Steven's console looks better than mine.. i saw quite a number of colours available from ebay but they are not from 3M... there is orange, red, black, and some others which i can't remember .. certainly interesting if someone is daring enough to try those colours..
-
Looks good mate.. well done..

Texted Alphamox 2 / 3 times, but never got reply. From the logical thinking of 'who would check his e-mail more than his mobile' thingy, I didn't bother to e-mail him. So I'm gonna pay his part for you guys to get the items to be shipped. Yay! . I'll finish the payment sometime early next week.
Keep you posted.
Vick, i think u should be able to sell it easily if Alphamox didn't end up getting the items he wanted.. there should be a few in the forum who is still interested in the items.. thanks for the arrangement mate..

What do people reckon of having all that console sorta in a gloss black finish?
Are u painting it or using Gloss Black Vinyl Wrap??
-
With the money saved I thought I'll spend it on the extended factory warranty for added insurance.
And some small mods to add to the already awesome car..
-
Nice.. waiting for all your photos ... Steven if you are doing your door trim.. please let me know how to remove it.. hahah..
Mr Poison...
Lee, Look at your list in your signature... hahahah... u are more poisonous mate...

anyone know how to remove the panel above the door handle which is of the same colour as the central console? Try to pry it open but it doesn't seem to want to come out willingly.. not like the parts on the dash..
-
Was quoted $179 at the dealer in hobart, must check if that includes a proper flush. If they are going to do the job it should be done right !
If anyone need my receipt to bargain for a more competitive price at your local service outlet please let me know. I notice that on my receipt it is $140+GST so it is about $154...
