  1. http://www.carsales.com.au/used-cars/priva...vo&trecs=18 this guy wants 13,800 for an 03 with 115k on the clock....
  2. this is what redbook says about the 5y stivo (anyone know the difference with a y92 2005 model ?) * Private Price Guide $17,100 - $19,100 * Trade In Price Guide $14,100 - $16,100 * Average Km 60,000 - 100,000 * Price When New (RRP) $28,990 ----2 things to consider.. stivos are actually a hard car to sell, they really are, secondly look at the current automotive market, dealers are flogging cars for cheap because they cannot sell them. if i paid 16.5K for the car i would be happy. That's all well and good - but Redbook says the price could be 19 grand with 60,000 on the clock. The car in question has only 31,000 on the clock... so if its in top shape, the price is justified. I doubt the seller would squabble if you offered him a flat 20. You may even get away with 18 or 19. now your talking, offer him 18, he would take it. just dont pay 20k
  3. i bet i could find an 03 with 100,000 on the clock and buy it for 14k$ thats a good deal, so is 3 years newer, with 60k less on the clock make an 05 stivo worth 20k ? NO WAY
  4. where is the best place to get them from ?

  18. i see.. so im not the only one that thinks the manual transmission is not so smooth.. you hit the nail on the head when you said "little jaggy edges in the shift" whats everyone else think ?
  19. hey guys, i own a 03 stock sportivo.(had it for one week) every now and then, it feels like the shifts from 1st to 2nd to 3rd are a bit sticky and require a little bit of force to get the stick sitting into the next gear, if i change slower it i can feel clunks and little barriers that i have to push through to get the thing sitting in the next gear, i know its a springy gear box and it works better when shifting in a 2 stage process, like clicking the gear into the half way point and from then clicking it into down into second... does anyone else find the gears a little sticky (not smooth to shift) ?? what could be the cause of this ? my friend tells me that if any force is required to shift gears that is a bad thing.......... like we arnt meant to have to force the gears in are we?? anyone else find the 6 speed not so smooth??
  20. on ya brad, nice ride.! i just bought one also. an 03 model. man coming out of a vt 6.. its nearly impossible to cruise these cars. youl love it!!
