  1. I have decided to send the door sills to moussa, he will be able to contact the rest of you Sydneyians and distribute accordingly.

1rocky, i will have to send yours seperate, to you which should be fine.

Melbourne crew, i will send 'Guni' yours, get in contact with him, and you'll be fine.

and last W.A crew i will send yours out to chicken, he's the man for the job over there :P

Now, i have to get some packaging for all of these, and send them out next week, i will avoid express post since its so costly.

Thanks for being so patient everyone :D

  2. hrmmm ok tried to do this tonight -

I linked the ground and 12 v charge from the lighter to the button.

And then cut the ignition (black and white cable) - im assuming it was ignition coz it went to 12v only when in the " on" position .

Linked the remaining wire to the ignition .

The problem starts here - turned key to on and pressed button - relay clicks but no starting

ideas ? tried swapping the 12v wire and ignition wire ...

    totally lost ...

  3. right so i attempted this last weekend.. and failed :(. dont know what toyota here uses for glue but its tough stuff! tried leaving the headlights in the oven for it to soften up, put it back in 5x, tried heatlamp, hairdryer and even a mini blowtorch! any ideas or tips? should i leave it in the oven for a longer time (left it in for 5min, 5x) turned the oven up to 170c, turned it off and left the lights in there.

any advice would be great, really want to get this done!

    chay

    Hi chay,

    few things-

    1) have u removed all the screws ? theres one or two from memory that u mite have missed.

    2) heat it till the tabs holding the lense is soft enough to pry away .

    3) focus on prying one particular section at a time - prolly the inside of the headlamp 1st as on the 05 model the tips of the headlight is pushed-in so that u need to pull on an angel to remove.

    4) use a knife to slowly seperate/ create an opening between the lense and backing - i ran the knife around the whole thing a few times

    5) use a knife or a stick to cut off excess sealant when u have it opened to keep it seperated when u place it bak into oven .

    hope this helps

i totally agree that the sealant is indestructable .

  4. Hey there guys, new here obviously. I'm an American in search of some Toyota parts that I can only seem to find available in AU for some reason. But I'll just post about that another forum. So, anyway, hi!

  5. just to let people know, the standard sportivo rims are worth $800 a rim. i found out yesterday.

WedsSport TC105N looks pretty much the same and costs less, not to mention you can pick a different size...

I'm running 18"s on my lowered T-Sport without any problems, and there are guys running 19's on theirs as well using 215/35/19.

    19" isn't legal here on a Sportivo.

    Are u serious ? they're illegal ?
