So after a long long wait - 25 days to be exact i finally got my PPE 4-1 headers.

Long story short : parts were sent from the US to Melbourne customs, then 10 days later sent to perth - who then told me ( 10 days later) i wld have to provide invoices before they can send it to me as it was randomly selected to be checked.

It was estimated to be $2000 so therefore they wanted me to pay my taxes ... sighz but in the end showed them a receipt for $500 US and all was good.

AND got them installed with a varex twin tip

Problem: seems my exhaust is rather raspy ?? im not sure if its me - but it has PPE headers, custom 2.5" catback and varex.

Any insights from anyone ? WAians ?

hrmm $500 - handling i wld suggest getting king springs low ( not super lows- as these wld prolly scrap over speed bumps a lil and going up ramps)

And then a rear sway bar as they would effect the handling the most. front strut bar is prolly not going to make as much of a difference- and will prolly only add to the bling factor. so maybe a front sway first then a front strut - if u want to go down that road.

Good bang for buck , with coil overs - they can be pricey and in my opinion not really necessary unless ur going to be driving ur car hard.

Prolly after u can save up for some aftermarket strut bars - KYB's what i have.

In regards to echaust i would budget abt $800 to $1000 depending on what you want to do - if its just a muffler wil be cheaper.

but performance headers plus custom catback wld b more including labour obviously.

1) springs

2) rear sway

3) struts

So what was the final design ?

i think 3rd one looks cool - but wld prolly work as a poster but impractical as a banner ( not to mention prolly hell expensive) .

1st one wld prolly work better as the banner its simple, clean and can be seen from a distance.

maybe incorporate the "tocau" from the 3rd one into it ? have a play around n c wat u come up with.

Random question guys : does anyone know if the PPE Headers for the Celica will fit on the Corolla Sportivo ?

From memory i heard the midpipe needs to be cut back and thats all you need to make it fit ...
