How to choose?

There aren't too many out there that fit the Gen 6 Camry. Out of the ones that fit, you make your selection based on stiffness. This can vary depending on the material used and the thickness.

I would agree with "PaulMT" about invisible film.

Not sure. That road is seperated by a fairly large mediem strip. It went by fairly quick but im telling you TRDLover it looked quite impressive. Sporty looking B)

from wat i know, there are professional can make cf bonnet WHICH is legal~

but i agree there are a lot of maker who just make illegal ones for cost purpose or just stupid.

No, they can't. Won't/haven't passed ADR cert., which means it's illegal. There's only one place in Australia that make ADR-certified fibreglass bonnets, they're on the Gold Coast and cost roughly $700 each.

Actually, I wanted to get the original grill for myself. I also wanted the original TRD kit but could not find the source so I went with the replica.

If you want me to use the original to make replica, I will have to ask around if it is possible

From my dealer and the person who looked after my car, I asked a bit regarding TRD parts for Aurion and discovered that they can be purchased even for Non-TRD owners. For the Grill itself, I think he quoted me around 6-700 If I remembered it correctly [Too much only for a grill I reckon]. Dun rely too much on this thou.

He also said that the TRD grill will fit perfectly to a Non-TRD Aurion.

Another fact is that many owners here have done Import Grills sourced from Thailand. And they fit perfectly.

So what i concluded from this, Yes, U are most likely able to fit TRD aurion grill to ur Camry 2006 3.5Q model.

Great, let me know how to proceed to order the original grill. I do need original receipts from Toyota.

Also, let me know how much the entire genuine TRD Kit cost because I have other buyers in Thailand interested in originals.

Unfortunately, none of us here bother to get TRD kits on Normal Aurion due to Aurion Wanna-be thing.. So can't provide u with any receipts. The Info I told u are all quotes anw. The dealer said They can arrange 'Special Price' If I decide to do so...But meh, That special would be no more than $200 cashback anw.

As DJKOR mentioned, they make the exhaust very dirty which is why I got Pipewerx to point them downwards.

I was thinking of custom making the exhaust so that it looks exactly the same but I was told that fiber do not respond well to heat from exhaust. So, I suggested they use high temperature paint but they could not guarantee that it will not melt so I scrapped the idea. I assume the original design had the same problem; thus, the exhaust is hidden behind the spoiler.

Yes they point straight into the cutouts in the bumper. The main complaint with that is that you end up with that cutout all dirty from the exhaust emissions. TRD Aurion Owner her has had new mufflers put on and at the same time, had them pointed down towards the ground. Solved that issue.

The silver cutouts in the rear bumper are only a styling part of the bumper...

If you look through those holes you'll see the exhaust tips...

Is the exhaust tip pointing straight or towards the ground?

Can those TRD Aurion owners confirm that the dual exhaust in the rear is fake and the real exhaust is actually pointing towards the ground behind the rear spoiler?

How about confirm-ing the fittings of ur Car to our fittings?

Got several sources accept and rejecting both ideas...

Because I am getting a replica which requires me to bring my car in for "fitting", I think it will fit perfectly.

Just hope the work is acceptable.

can u get chrome grilles in aus?

The only chrome grill that is available in Australia is the one from Toyota as used on the Presara. You can order from Thailand though like a few of us have. BONDIE was the one to find success in this method, and even has a chrome grill himself. some threads of interest:
