i must say, the level of discipline and road respect that the members have are quite impressive. One thing to remember though is to keep at your own pace and cars ability. Closest to the west side will be Mt Macedon, but its still a far drive Otherwise Great Ocean Road is the other option, even though its not really a mountain, the twisties are fun Ive done the black spur / healesville / kinglake runs a few times as well, takes a whole day.
Hehe... First post is stuff up just quotin ol Jeff... Try again bestfriend

Doesnt seem like there's too many on here at the moment. Maybe thatll increase over the next few years.
-
Yeah i'm finding that alot... jealous of people with older cars that have a big choice of after market items.
Cheers for that link.

Hmm...I think white calipers would get dirty pretty quick? I painted mine black and they always look clean, I thought the dirt just washed off. I was curious the other day and actually shone a light onto them and there was dirt and dust all over them lol, the black just masked it.
If you could keep them clean, I think white ones would look great with a black Toyota vinyl sticker across them too.
Yeah keep it clean would definitely be the challenge... and yes i was thinking a of toyota decal in black on them the other night too hehe... You know any sites good for those sorta stickers?

Cheers Harlo... I agree they can look a bit plain when i see em around. Still wanting to get a member ride thread happening (which this should have been)... but wanna take some nice photos with a good camera to properly show her off... also maybe paint calipers white? waiting on proper jdm dual horn.
... and so it continues.

Yeah my car isnt lowered but im tempted to grab these and just get them repaired and coated. They've also got 3/4 tyres on them that are still good.
Wonder what it'd cost me for repair and coat? Any ideas? I've heard some people talk about coating wheels costing like 50 a wheel and other saying much more expensive.
-
They're Rays Volk Touring Evolution Fortesst.. Look like they've been sand blasted.. Normally whiteish with a blue ring (decal) around the centre
Hey thanks man. Reckon theyre worth grabbin? id have to get em blasted and coat them or get em coated. I can get em for $200.

No accusations, just weird is all.
Good that you clarified that it was owned by an old lady previoulsy tho.

People may have trouble believing that you've only done about 1200 kms or so per year... and why would you service it twice or three times a year?
-
It sounds like youre tryin to give it away
-
Obviously the downside is that you can't peel it off.
Can you take the vinyl spray off with heat? Or does it not hold together in one piece like plastidip?
-
Yeah... looks a lil funny here without any on the left hand side. But still a good style/colour. What vinyl spray are you using and how does the finish compare to plastidip as its rubber v vinyl?

17 X 8.5
I'm thinkin i might be too lazy to deal with it so if anyone wants the details... lemme kno.
