Put me down :) My stock car, need's a Dyno :) Just to see how much Stock KW have ran away from my stock system :)
@Jeffy, Will2k, too much power man... He will rape our Toyota's... But he got a friggen good exhaust...
edit: @Jeffy, do I bring Baby Aurion? Or Silver Rolla?
bring your white one, you drive that more,
and will doesnt have an exhaust setup, he just got the muffler chopped off and added cannons, its huy that has the mugen exhaust setup,
Serious? I always thought Will, had something else, because his canon's relate to the amount of pull his car can do...
And Huy, his car is too quite, so assumed it was normal...
But now I know, that's kinda cool...

09-11 Corolla S
I got it installed, 2-3kw increase at the wheel
Are you sure that' sokay for me?
I'm an 08 Corolla...

The idle will sit normally after warming up and fluctuate near the indicator lines on the tacho gauge.
I have the same problem, but my LeManz toyota keep telling me it's normal, when I can feel it's not normal...
Mine normally "tries" to idle at 800rpm...

But, my issue is now... Where can I buy one of these underline pulley's?

A Little help is much appriciated...

are you sure you have the right cableing/etc...
By this do you mean, Instead of the 8Guage STOCK wire, TO power - Battery, then Battery to ground, & Alternator to Battery, all upgraded? If so, then I only went up to 4guage wires...
So I'm assuming I do have the right cabeling...
But I could possibly be wrong?
for that kind of power I would be running 0 gauge from the battery direct to the amp. a run of 0 gauge from the battery negative to the body, and 0 gauge from body to amp negative.
So I don't have to upgrade other wires?
Just 0 from battery Negative to Body, 0 Negative Amp to Body, and 0 Positive to Amp?
That would be where I would start. You need to make sure the wires running to your speakers/etc are big enough too.
What other wires should I be upgrading to 0 Guage BTW?
Please tell me all I should know, so i don't ask again :)
& I'm running 12 Guage Wire from AMP Speaker, to Subwoofer...

Saw two Toyota's Yesterday, one with a ME2U plate number @ 16:18, on Sunshine RD
the other at 20:40? (Roughly around that time) a VERY Lowered Camry, blue parker lights, on the exit of Western Ring Road, Ballarat RD...
If you didn't see, there was a White Corolla next to you on the exit, who sped of into Cairnlea Drive
as for the ME2U driver, I was trying to signal you, but you probably thought I was an idiot --"

Hey All...
I know this may be a easy one, but what's the difference between these two engines?
2ZRA1
2ZR00
But I don't understand,
Why does one Corolla 2008, have a ZR(0)0 (that's a zero) & not a letter, but the other 2008 Corolla ZR(A)1
ZRA1 - 2008, July - Silver, Manuel, Ascent
ZR00 - 2009, April - White, Manuel, Conquest
Build dates...

Hi guys!
Well, I've just got my first car - an 07 Corolla Ascent ZRE152, WOOT!
I want to install some HID's, however I am slightly unsure about this decision.
From research, I'm thinking of getting a colour range between 6000k - 8000k
However, I've also been told that when buying online i should be aware that there may be some dodgy kits
well, some that are not as good as others.
So through your experience, are there any specific kits you would recommend and a specific colour range to get the best visibility?
Thanks!
Aye, if you live in Melbourne, Westside, there is this person selling Kit's for $70, I bought from him, and I've been running solid for the past 5 months...
Mind you I bought 6000K, swapped the bulbs for some ebay bulbs of 5000K, that's for both Low Beam & Fog Lights.
If you want his contact deetz tell us, I'll pass them onto you, he's on Firesport too.
BTW: You don't know how to make a signiture smaller do you?
-
Ahhh your one of us that lost the globe in the headlight huh??
Done that a few times myself..
OEM ballasts for low beam are placed under the headlight its self, there is a flat panel there for the ballasts. Its easy enough to remove the headlights. You will need to remove the headlight to get out your parker anyways, have a pair of needle nosed pliars at the ready, remove the headlight, disconnect the wiring and shake that baby around till the parker globe is near the hole, gently try to wiggle it out of tilt it so it falls out the hole...
Im not one that says "NO" to HID's in the fogs in the right situation.... The ZRE series point down at the ground (like 90% of fog lights, as they should), only illuminating around 5 odd meters in front of the car, for the cost of the kit try it out first anyways... there are a few melb guys running HID fogs with no problems. 3,000k would be a nice choice.
wait, so I have to take out the entire headlight? How do I do that?... HID are starting to get harder than I thought...
-
So on top of the bar that's above the radiator? Wouldn't the bonnet crush it? Humm... Also how so I get my parker light bulb out? Because when installing mew parker lights the bulb came lose, and fell into the glass area...
I'm so noob at these things.
-
I used cable ties to tie up my ballast. No drilling at all.
Humm, if you don't mind, could you maybe take a pic for me?
Because I donnu where to put them :(
-
Hey all, I don't exactly wanna do this part as trial & error, but where should I put the ballast's for the HID, for the Low Beams, & Fog Lights?
In the engine bay for the Low Beams, I'm seriously struggling to even drill anywhere to put hole's, since it;s quite cramped...
Anyone know a good place?
Please note, I haven't done the fog light's nor installed them, but I'm just assuming the ballast will be an issue too...
-
you got an ascent nuff said
It's not included in my Conquest as well... So not quite sure...
-
I guess you have a point, just that, I sat in my mates 07 RX Impreza, and kinda got jealous that he has such a feature :(
'97 Corolla Conquest have the feature too? :P
WTF, how come? I have a 07 Corolla ZRE without that feature? Did I get ripped off? cheated? or something??? I feel like I'm missing a lot now...

Hey All,
Just a quick one here, was just wondering, which wire's do I wire, to turn headlights off, when the ignition key is taken out or placed on ACC.
Example, would be at night time, if I really (i know it's lazy) need to get outta there, and just take the key's out the headlights turn off, without the beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep noise.
Thanks :)
In all seriousness, the buzzer is there for a reason, and if you're too lazy to turn the lights off then I'm amazed that you can even find the effort to pull the keys from the ignition and open the door. Be thankful you don't drive an older car with no sort of buzzer or auto-off switch - the lights could be turned on at any time and only turned off when you flicked the switch or your battery was drained.
I guess you have a point, just that, I sat in my mates 07 RX Impreza, and kinda got jealous that he has such a feature :(
But oh well, thanks man :)
Sound deadneing the ZRE Doors?
in Corolla / Corolla Sportivo Club
Posted
Hey All,
Was just wondering, if anyone here has taken apart there front doors? As well as their rear doors? The reason, is because I want to change my front speakers & Sound deaden it heavily, & my rear doors, pretty much just to sound deaden.
Now I was told that, removing the front doors, on a ZRE is harder than it seems, but I don't actually believe it to be so.
So if anyone can help me out, and tell me what I should be doing...
- I have already sound deadens my parcel shelf, I just now need to do just my front & rear doors...
