  3. oooooooooo.....save up for the turbo kit then - if it ever comes!
  4. Actually I've been thinking about to do some performance mod and start with a full cat-back system - especially the TRD one which I saw from TN + a custom header (which I think should be around $3xx ish, hopefully). Total cost should probably be nothing more than $1500. But then I read something about a CAMCON VVTI controller again in TN. Now I'm thinking, whether to go for the controller or the exhaust? It seems like the controller is a lot cheaper, ~$400 ish - Getting all together doesn't seems an option just yet. So here is the questions, - Have anyone ever used a VVTI controller in an Aurion? - How much gain in performance could be expected? - Which one will give a better ratio in terms of performance per dollar? Share ur thought fellas :)
  5. I think we are the the only Perth peeps in this Group Buy
  6. depends on your postcode between $20 to $50 cash on delivery insured. - unless you i send to 1 person in WA and you pick up personally from there. It would be heaps cheaper I'm not sure how close all you guys are to each other and if you guys want to do it that way. AUR30N I think that's a good idea... I think the one closest to the City should be the centre point of contact. I live in Karawara which is 10min drive to the City so I don't mind. What do the others think? What about to Fremantle? :P even close to city :P
  7. Yes confirmed!! So I assume for me the cost should be $46.56 + $25.04 + (180.83/6 = 30.2) = 101.8 + (postage to WA from Sydney = ??) Pm sent to ya for the Paypal account. Cheer mate!
  8. Good work AUR30N Good work mate, looking forward to it!! For once, I thought you got killed by the swine flu
  9. Hi, Just wondering what would be the optimal tyre pressure with 245/35/19 tyres on the Aurion? When I asked the guy from the wheel shop, he told me 36 psi...I thought it would be a little bit too low? I've read something as a generic guild is to take 10% off the max, I've check my tyre and the max is 50, which mean 45 is good but then I thought it would be a little be too high? Also some people said it also depends on the car....struggling peace :)
  10. I think you talk about this one seeing ur in WA :P 2007 3000S TRD 19000 kms on the clock for $36000?? Is it only me thinking it is too good to be ture o_0''
  11. The knocking turned out from a loose bolt, tighten it up --> all sweet !!! Just a note, apparently there is nothing wrong with the UR mount that come with the bar, bcoz as soon as we jacked up the car, we went straight to change back the mounts to the factory ones but it was the same. Later we found out that the bolt - see attached pic, wasn't tighten hard enough and left a gap <---it was initially done that way bcoz the other end of the bolt kept slipping while we trying to tighten it up and we thought it was ok (so it proves not!!), but once we have done that probably...WOOOHOOO!!! Now the cornering is sharper and what the most noticeable change is the exits are much much much more stable!!! Truely amazing!! Thanks everyone for your comment btw. **Edited** forgot the pic
  12. Hey Man, so u're suggesting I should use the original mount with the new rubber thing that come with the UR bar to mount it? Thanks
  13. Hi All, Today I've managed to get a friend to put in the rear sway bar for me. Not long after its done and when I was on my way home, I kept hearing some sort of knocking happening in the rear right hand side. I can hear it clearly whenever I go through any hump or even just passing an uneven surface. Doesn't matter if I drive pass it with the left / right or both wheels, the knocking sound always come from the right. Just wondering if anyone had any similar issues b4 after installing the rear sway bar or know what could possibly went wrong? Thanks just FYI, the bar was from Ultra racing.
  14. "D" all the way - thatz one of the big reason why I have bought an auto. The only few times I was with "S" were all @ traffic light :P
  15. Woohoo...looks like we have enough numbers to go for it yeh ?
  16. Yep! The TRD's have the 15mm lower & stiffer spring and shocks valved to suit. Otherwise they are interchangeable. Cool :) I'm gonna ring up and order it tomorrow from Toyota. See how long the stock absorber will last - once its ****** then I have all the excuses in the world for coilover :D
  17. So you mean it should directly replace the stock SX6 springs if I'm not mistaken it ? :o I got quoted from Toyota $460 full set, quite tempting if they really do fit
  18. Thx Man I might call them again and check it out. I also found there was a thread in TN about a guy put the TRD springs into his Camry, not sure which TRD springs he got tho http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/showthread.php?t=272954 I've also been thinking... by changing the springs only with the same shock, does it cause much damages ?

  20. I thought I should better start off a new thread since this is a different topic. cont'd from here http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/inde...st&p=314658 Does the stock TRD spring direct fit on my sx6 tho? Just got off the phone from Toyota parts and they said can supply the coil. Another problem is, I'm not sure if we were talking about the same thing, he kept asking if I want the "coil" while I told him I want the "spring" - coil / springs same thing but different term? So he sent me the diagram and ask (I've attached the diagram). I'm no expert at all, pls help :P ******Update******** Just got the email back from them and yes we were talking about the same thing, part number is #48231, so the questions left are #1 does it fit on the sx6? and if it does, #2 Any other part that I will need to get it install? Thanks again fellas
