  1. I've got a similar problem with my 94 camry. At the moment It is fine if I monitor it. Once a week or so before I drive it in the morning I check the oil level, it should be at the full level on the dispstick. If it's not then top it up. It takes about a litre of oil to bring it up from the low level to the full so I use that to gauge how much to add.
  2. Sounds like I might be self-dismantalling...I would like to do it as I'm a bit of a wreckers yard junkie and like taking things apart to see how things work/are arranged.
  3. Quick question, when my car reaches the end of it's usable life will I make more money selling it as is to a car dismantiller or stripping it down myself and then selling on the parts?
  4. Hi, I have a 1994 Camry V6 with 370,000Km on the clock and it has had rattles coming from the passenger side of the dash for a few years now. Just wondering what the best way fix this is without having to remove the entire dash.
  5. Yeah, guess it's just one of those things. Luckily I don't think it's leaking too bad as I haven't noticed any drop in the power steering fluid. Will see what shes doing come warrant time.
  6. Meaning that if they do balls it up it just has to last a year.
  7. What's the warranty like? Although it was done 4 years ago if it is leaking again due to a bodged overhaul I would want Toyota to fix it.
  8. Just got my car back after having it's steering rack mounting bushes replaced and was told by the garage that the steering rack is leaking fluid into the boots. This is after having the rack overhauled 4 years (72,000km ago). Is this normal? Has anyone else had similar problems and what's the cause? Vehicle details: 1994 Camry V6 GL (NZ model), 367000km.
