  1. looks good mate, getting there....need to come out for a cruise sometime champ

Looking forward to it mate! In a few weeks once people get back from holidays I'll be able to finish early thursday then have friday off. :yahoo:

  2. put the neons up more so u cant see em... and how u going to put stuff in the centre without it hitting the toggle switch??

Your can't see the neons when your sitting in the front seats.

That's what the Armrest/drink holder is for :) I never used the centre holder so it was the perfect place for the switch. Plus when i open the flap during the night the whole cabin lights up blue.

There would be more if it wasn't for that yucky rain you can see on my driveway.

Still getting neons for the back seats + a "non light" trigger switch. Should be here late this week/early next week.

If I can help in any way whether it be asking for bulb types or install instructions FEEL FREE TO ASK!!!

    Cheers

  4. Hang on... you got a 3" cat-back exhaust?? :o

the would reduce your power output cause there would be no back pressure... a suitablee size would be more of a 2.5" catback lol :P

    Sorry Raf, hijaked lol

    Evo

Once i got the new muffler and tip i got 5% more power. Wasn't loud enough tho.

After i got the piping from cat to muffler i gained around 1% more.

I do realize I could have gone 2.5" and gained roughly another 4% (on top of the initial 5%) but it's not a racecar...its a headturner and all good headturners need an over-the-top exhaust.

    That's my 2 cents anyway :)

  5. Those HID's look terrific!

Whats ur next mod? TRD Grill and eye lids? fog lights? Or maybe performance?

Chasing a cat back exhaust atm...... know any good places? (Im from the gold coast)

Sorry man I got my cat-back done where I live on the sunny coast.

You should sent evo7 a pm. He lives on the gold coast and i'm sure will be happy to help.

how much did it set u back? what size did u get and what parts (resinator, what kind of muffler)?

First of all i got a redback muffler and 3" dump tip for $230.

That wasn't loud enough tho so i got custom 3" piping from the cat back to the new muffler and tip for $110.

Thus 3" cat-back exhaust for $340 bucks. I'll make a video of it one day.

  7. yay eyelids. so i'll be in for 1 set of eyelids. no tailids for me. Where would u get these primed and sprayed?

Anywhere where they can colourcode (match the paint 100% because of factory paint fading).

    Your looking at 40 - 50 bucks. 20 bucks for the paint/colourcoding and 20 - 30 for their time.

Call around your local smash repairers. Usually the smaller scratch removalers will do it cheaper since they don't have much work.

  8. nice job on a neat install ... but i read you smoked, did you ever use that ashtray anyway?

also, a n00b question, what does the volt meter measure?? i know its a measurement of power for the battery/electrics, but why the need for a gauge?

No, the ashtray is still brand new, never been ashed in once, and the cig lighter has never been used either. It measures voltage, why the need, more for rice factor than anything else, and i was curious as to how much it moves with the subs and such going off.

fair enuff... if only there was a gauge the same size that measures dB's, that'd be sweeet...

    ^^^^ Best idea ever!!!!

  9. When this happened to me (i was running on stockies...don't ask):

A quick j-erk to the direction your back wheels are sliding to. That will counter the slide.

Then you must lightly tap the brakes (ONLY ONCE THE REAR HAS STOPPED SLIDING) enough to slow down to the right exit speed.

Hopefully you still have enough room to safely steer your way out of the bend.

I got my 17"s back on asap after it happened :)

  10. Hey peoples, I am new to the forum (see intro thread) wouldn't mind some of these fully sik things lol
