  1. Hi, WTB, One centre cap for genuine St184 alloy wheel.
  2. I had the lights stay on in the boot. Also as the power ariel doesn't gear died the motor still works but you can hear it weering till it stops. Just some ideas. Did your still have the hub caps on the genuine alloy wheels, I after one.
  3. Our st184 has a lot of road noise. Had Bridgestone Turanza's but I think ecopia are better sound wise, still on std alloy rims. but my old commodore wagon with 330k was quitier!!
  4. Well today I pulled all the hose back off, checked them, put the hose through the lot, tested the thermostat opens at 85 not 81, fully open at 94deg c, so put it back together, left the heater hose loose filled it up( to bleed some air), ran it for 5 mins all ok. Turned it off ran for 5 mins again checked temp. It takes about 20mins at idle for the bottom of the radiator to get hot. Maybe to get thermostat to open all the way. It didn't boil but water temp at top of rad gets to 95 before fan cuts in. Put the coolant in and went for a drive all seems Ok. So maybe it just had a gut full of air. Bitch of a thing!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. Hi, Just changed hoses on my ST184 sx 2.2l. It wasn't boiling yesterday but now after I replaced all the cooling hose it boils at idle with cap off. I renewed thermostat. System was very clean. fan works. I'm a bit unsure if I got the heater hoses mixed up. Has anyone got a clear picture or diagram? I got a hi flow thermostat that cost $40 and the hoses about $200 for mackay gen fit type. cheers Jc
  6. I had same problem a while ago, I think I found an old thread to help but it was to do with idle speed may have had some thing to do with the tune and timing adjustment.
  7. Well i think i fix ed the vib at idea. When i was inspecting the heater tap i disconected the battery. So i suppose it wiped the memory. which it now idles lower at 750-800 not 900, than adjusted timing back to 10deg btc, when the fan cuts in it goes to about 1100rpm, so the vib is at 950rpm. so no problem.Hope this helps.cheers
  8. Thanks heeps that went well. saved it and it works.cheers
