  1. What exactly are the measurements for the inlet/outlet diameter you will be ordering? Wasn't there an issue with the first group buy not using imperial measurements which caused a problem buying the hoses for a perfect fit?

    nipple size are 3/8" (9.52mm) and 5/8" (15.88mm)

    hoses are 9mm/10mm and 16mm

    i didn't know there was a problem.

1 guy already got it installed (1ZZ)

    anyway, i'll go ask him

    Done!!!

    :toast:

Does the 2zz get a bigger one ???

    :P :P :P :P

everyone went for the same size for the 1st GB

if you guys know they're different, i suggest you guys (2zz owners) go measure it

so i can let saikou know

no point of having a can that doesnt fit

  2. any WAians ? Kenneth ?

i'll take one for the facelift ...

so no hoses and no brackets correct ? do we need to specify what colour etc we want ?

I'd rather get the hoses myself coz sometimes the 1 that comes with it doesnt even fit

for the colour, i'll get back to you when i know how many buyers we have

also, don't bother about the combine shipping if theres only a couple buyers in a state

coz it will definitely cost more for saikou to post them separately

    cypher added to the list

  3. does come with bracket but it probably won't fit into our car

    no hose and clamps

for zze12# corolla, we're getting the stage 1 can, which is big enough for us..

custom dimension? don't think he'll make it in another shape

the hose size are the same for 1zz and 2zz

so we'll be getting the same thing as rocky's

for other cars.. you can join IF you know the nozzle size of your car

    so anyone in??

  4. Ok sorry for the stupid question, but whats the point of a different catch can?
I read here and there about the purpose of the catch can but I would appreciate people views whether it is worth it or not. At this stage, I am say 50-50 not quite convinced whether it would bring something to my car. I know i should only post here if I am interested in buying it or not but I will if I can see it is worth it.

saikou michi catch can are better than most because this dude uses mesh filter technique to help collect the fumes into droplets.

the mesh is also stainless.. so it'll last for a long long long time

not like other catch cans, which are just an empty tin.

    didn't want 1 before, until i saw this >>>

spillige's ride (hope you don't mind man)

  5. Waw, really well priced... tempted!! but you do need approval from a mod for this group buy. Talk to someone local :)

    yep, i did.

    michelle said it's ok :)

    join us kenneth!

I will have a good think about it :) So if we have a couple in WA the shipping goes down by abit yea?

Oh I've added the approval line on the title.. hope you dont mind ..

    thx kenneth

if there are a few WAians, then I can ask him to ship it to WA directly (1 address), then you guys dont have pay the extra $8

  6. On the website it says that it's custom made, so am i correct in assuming an OEM fit >?

or do we need custom mounts made up ?

he can customize nozzle size so this group buy is not only for ZZE12# corollas.

also, the nozzles can be relocated or/and replaced with AN fittings

mounts.. i don't know but it shouldnt be hard.

if we do get a lot of interest, we MIGHT be able to get him make one.. im not sure..

  8. check the gaps between the tail gate and the tail lights....... you shouldn't be able to fit even your little finger through.......... also boot carpet around the tail light area may not be snug....... how do i know this? my mum has a stock corolla same as ours and it was in a rear end smash and these are the noticable things that they couldn't get right..... its been back and they fixed the carpet trim abit but not reall to the point of how it was......... hope this helps

Yea, I've had a look at all that, tail gate and tail lights looks pretty neat, the boot carpet with looks pretty snug fit.

Nothing I've noticed out of ordinary.

But I am worried about the structure.

@ BKS : Yea, I'll get it on a hoist and have a look underneath... you reckon my mechanic can tell me if something is wrong? Or maybe possibly a Toyota servicing centre?

take it to a panel beater instead

check if the chassis has been sprayed over or not

  9. If he is going to Mod a stivo if he gets one, than chances are he will eventually mod the levin as well - CAI, Exhaust, Headers the list goes on...

    i just read this post

he won't even bother to get an exhaust if he's getting the levin

so.. headers, cai... don't think so..
