  1. Yes for all that has lowered their corolla's please comment. btw thanks for the replies that have come through though
  2. hi everyone as i'm unable to find the part number for whiteline bumpstops to suit my corolla sportivo, i've decided to get some feedback from fellow members here. when you lowered your corolla did you trim your bumpstops? or buy replacement shorter/narrower bumpstops or just left them as is? also just like to know what the shorter bumpstops will do? and if you trimmed it how much did you trim off? and what are the effects if you don't trim them and leave them as is or is it recommended to replace/trim them on installing new springs btw i'm looking for a 30-35mm drop if that helps with feedback on my questions thanks.
  3. omn1potent, your thoughts are very much inline with mine. VW & Citreon from the pics its not my cup of tea but it might look better in real life when/if it ever comes out
  4. Hi everyone i own a 03 sportivo and i'm having trouble fidning a part number for the whiteline bump stops. I've been advised by whiteline that the part number is W0922 fronts and W0921 rears, however from memory Zeerolla had issues with the rear bump stops being the wrong ones. So i just like to know if anyone knows the correct part number for them? thanks in advance
  5. There is a guy that sells them (KT_haha's friend) for $5 and $2 postage i think.. has white and blue LED's among other lighting goodies (globes, HID kits etc..) his ebay store is here. If you need a direct contact, PM me I've found that reception is fine for most commercial stations.. at times i struggle with 96.1. Sometimes it's not as clear depending where you are (hilly area's etc) but i mean.. how often do you listen to the radio especially if you have a 'fulli sick' system....bro? :P For $20 you cant go wrong i reckon B) I must agree the more 'bigger' (104.1, etc) radio stations don't get affected by the shorter antenna's but radio stations like 96.1 do suffer at times where the reception dies out a little and so forth but most of the time it's fine.
  6. from memory i believe it only goes in if you are travelling 5ks or less.
  7. nice pics. just a question though are they aftermarket lights(blubs)? if so what brand are they?
  8. I own a 03 sportivo and fill up with vortex98ron always fill up until the pump trigger clicks and i get 600kms max (this is before the fuel light shows), i previously filled up with synenergy8000 (98ron) and got the same ks out of a full tank. I drive 65+ks everyday during peak hours (morning 7-8am and night 5-6pm) generally 3000 to 4000 take offs and shifts but more so 3000rpms, rarely hit lift anymore as i really can't when it's pretty much bumpper to bumper driving. not sure how good this is compared to everyone else, guess i would like to always have more kms out of a full tank though.
  9. Just thought i'd add in that i recently got in a minor accident where a lady changed lanes without looking at her blind spot and scraped my car on the side, she hit the passenger side door protectors, my side skirt and the front guard. However there was no damage to the door itself as the door protector has taken the impact and let me tell you it is much cheaper to replace that door protector than repairing the door.
  10. thanks man, but i get confusing suggestions here, some people say the MT-90 is better and some say the shockproof. Your experience? Or anybody? And how much was it again in AUS$? Zee, Im using Redline Shockproof myself and it does feel better than what was in there previously. However to answer your question MT-90 is the recommended for 'normal' driving habits however the shockproof is more for the track people. Whether you choice MT-90 or Lightweight you will feel a difference but i'd go for the shockproof as it only cost alittle more than the MT-90 and it will not hurt to have it in your tranny. btw for the sportivo you will need 3quarts from memory the sportivo requires 2.3L and the 1ZZ only requires 1.9L
  11. looks great! changes the look of the console greatly compared to the dull green that doesnt suit the dash at all. i dont know anyone from this forum but if there is a group install i'll be interested even though i dont know any of you hehe but it would be a good time to meet some of you lmao if the group install goes ahead and you dont mind me there let me know :o)
  12. Thanks everyone. Northy the sportivo doesnt have two power remote wires, however there is a pin in the female socket with a wire and i pushed the power antenna wire on the male socket to touch the pin on the female socket and that worked fine. thanks for everyones replys and i will try them if what i did causes me issues.
  13. Hi im trying to hook up a a amp to the stock head unit but i'm having trouble locating the wire that will enable the amp to power up. I have tried the power antenna wire but the amp will only switch on when i use the radio and switches back off when i switch to disc/cd just wondering if any of you know which cable i should be hooking the remote wire to so it will switch on my amp when i'm playing a cd? thanks in advance.
