Was a good turnout, certainly didn't expect someone to show up in a Ferarri 360.

I was sick of not being able to get the Megs one a while ago so gave up and got something pretty much identical:

Does the job nicely, well build and firm in hand. Works exactly the same as the Megs one.

I got a pack of Festool pads to go with it as well. Use all the same methods and liquids as the Megs one.

Glued in a bit of door trim that has a broken clip and re-trimmed the centre console container lid in leather that matches my handbrake boot.

Amazing how a couple of small changes makes a huge visual difference to the interior of your car.

That lid was a bitch to do, the leather I had wasnt cut right (too big, covered screw holes), so I had to make my own adjustments with my trusty Vitorinox multitool. Fkn superglue on my fingertips is so annoying.

Might come, but not sure if i'll have my car back by then. Still at the panel shop getting fixed and gotta collect a new license plate.

Doesnt matter how much the initial car costs... theres a huuuuge amount of labor to convert to RHD. Think about it, they have to essentially fabricate a whole new interior! What if its just not possible to move things like the steering rack to the other side? You'll need new headlights as well.

If you want a similar looking car... try a JDM Civic Coupe, or a 7th Gen Celica.

PowerFC is a full standalone, but on Corollas its gotta be run in tandem with the stock ECU, just for little stuff like aircon and a few bits and pieces.

Being a standalone it'll control everything, rev limits, lift, fuel, timing, vvt etc. Costs more, but bigger gains and you'll never outgrow it.

Seriously, pay an extra couple hundred bucks + the price of a harness and get my PowerFC, its a much better long term option.

Nice ride, and if your interested in power, don't forget a PowerFC to raise that rev limiter and lower lift engagement *cough*.

Checked fuses?

If you lost power for more then say, 10 mins, your ECU will reset and have to re-learn your driving behavior (its the i in VVTL-i), thrash it for 100kms or so and it'll sharpen up again.

If you lost all the water in your battery it might have effected its efficiency maybe as well, places like Battery World will check your battery 'health' for free.

Save your money, wait a couple years, get a new FT-86.

Get a hard top 350Z, unless your getting 6 figure supercars, loosing the roof almost always makes a car 'floppy' and a bit heavier due to underfloor bracing. That and I think they look better :)

Unless your going hardcore with weight savings, just go down to your local auto store and grab whatever, as long as its the right sort it doesn't matter. If you need to know which sort specifically, just ask they'll have it.

If its not on their website but magnaflow make it, they can get it. I got two 2.5 inch in/out mufflers from there when I did my old Celicas exhaust.

Im not too sure but i was going to buy a 2.25 in and just swap out the oem unit for a maganaflow. The oem pipe is 2.25 i think.

With the work your getting done you should go for a whole new exhaust... 2.5in all the way.

If your buying wheels and your worried about weight i don't see going for 20's as being ideal

Ok, 20's will be bloody heavy, even if you get super expensive ones. They'll be heavier then stock, so that means you'll have more unspung weight, which is BAD. Looks and performance is more like 17's. Not to mention how terrible your ride quality would be in comparison.

Turbo cars yes, N/A... maybe. If your doing the whole system I'd replace the cat as well.

As for legality, pretty sure anything under 200CPI (cells per inch) is 'off road use only', which is pointless. But I think the rules have recently changed - but for newer cars (2004+) only.

Self interest aside, you have so much to gain with a PFC, you have Cams + Springs! Rev the bitch to 9k+ and lower lift... you'll be in lift 100% of the time!

Try the guys over at Toymods, they have this sort of stuff lying around.
