  1. What do you mean stay legal? Trust me you need to run more than a +42 to get it to fit. I'm gonna be running +38 and I'm afraid it won't be enough.

Its to do with increasing the track (I think thats the right word) of your car, you cant make it wider then 26mm and you cant decrease it at all.

I have never heard of anyone -ever- getting done for this and the inspector would have to be incredibly clued in to pick this up. Considering some of the other stuff on your car, its the least I would worry about.

  2. PPE headers will be ordered soon as well as getting Aarons Power FC.

Yay! Can pay off more debt!

they should be ADR approved,i bought the same set for the Evo too and the supplier said that they are ADR approved :)

Sweet, might think of getting a set myself, the brakes on the Supra are ok (if the Celica had no ABS, it'd be on par), but I think they need work, as much as I can anyways without changing calipers... but thats for another thread.

This things gonna be a lil pocket rocket, looking forward to seeing it all done. Good news with AusPost as well.

  3. Welcome! I had a 2001 7th gen before it met its end, good cars.

Hope the roof hasn't got more then a couple dents, pillars too, cause they'll cost a bundle to fix. Its not like you can just swap panels over like the sides :)

  4. More like what I did to my car this last week... almost.

Ordered new weather strips for both doors ($110 each delivered from Amayama, damn these guys are CHEAP)

Ordered new hatch rubber stopper thingys to stop the hatch rattling (again, Amayama)

Ordered a new Alpine HU (CDA-117E, didnt arrive for the weekend :(, might do a lil review when its in )

Ordered a new Electronic Boost Controller (cheap HDi one, didnt arrive for the weekend :( )

Got some cleaning stuff cause I'm low on car wash (just some Megs NXT)

Got some cleaning stuff for the wheels (Megs non-acidic gel, wheels are soooo dirty!)

Got some aly/wheel polish (Megs again)

Got a new microfibre (Megs again... lol. Cant have too many!)

To do tomorrow... quick wash (paints too **** to bother going further, was supposed to get a quote for that today but the place I wanted to use is gone or moved... annoying.), thoroughly clean rims and polish outer edge (its supposed to be shiny but its they have not been looked after). I'll do a wheel comparison for the detailing peeps when I've done one. Also going to finally get around to putting new leather trim on centre console arm rest to replace ripped up vinyl, re-affix ceiling carpet and re-attach door lock plastic surround on drivers side door... anyone who's owned a A70 knows about these, the clips break on them.

  5. If nothing else I'd be worried that the wire going to the cig lighter wouldnt be a low enough gauge to take the extra power, overheat and melt.

Run a nice thick cable to the battery and whack a appropriate fuse on it, even for a weenie little amp like that.
