For the record - We received the Grill via TNT in its origional box which had no bubble wrap.

I re-packed the grill and used plenty of Bubble wrap, sent it via Toll Ipec and it broke....

Its soley a courier issue.

wasnt having a go at ya brad-was just saying sometimes they arent packed properly,used to work as storeman and have seen this many times,but yes the typical thing i stated was meaning the couriers as they dont really care bout the products

i know it doesnt help-but we put ours in the ashtray

have you tried to put a phone holder onto the smooth surface above the ashtray-not sure if this will work but i am going to try when i get round to it

i checked mine out last night and can say that my aurion has the new pipe installed luckily-lol

mine was built in may 09 so hopefully they have been like this for most of this yrs models

with the 2 pipes side by side,the old 1 is obviously on the left,what is the major diff between the 2 if i may ask,

eg-is it 2 pipes joined or am i off the track here.

just out of curiosity-is this still a problem with 09 aurions or is it confined to earlier models

I think the Aurion was only fixed a few months into 2009. The best way to tell is by looking under the bonnet for yourself.

gday all-we paid just under $900 for the bar and wiring loom fitted,that is the genuine toyota 1 too,oh well,typical of me to pay too much-lol

least its under warranty etc

well im not sure how much retail is but i can buy from a wholesale supplier so it was rather cheap, id prefer to keep the price to myself just so that i dont cause issues with my supplier or anybody else who does towbars.

i'll find out how much retail is and let u know.
