    Camry 2007

    oops! wrong section
  2. yes i do have a receipt. is that it?
  3. Help me out here guys.. I m new to Oz Is there exist a thing called vehicle ownership title or something to that effect that basically says "this car belongs to this dude"? I bought my car without finance but I don't possess any such document.
  4. exactly my thoughts. it's neither luxurious nor sporty. the front view is the worst part.. it looks like the design concepts of Kia Rio/Hyundai Elantra (the previous model, the current Elantra actually looks good!). i predict this new corolla is going to face the same fate as the Nissan Tiida -- it doesn't live to half the glory of Nissan Pulsar.
  5. $35k for a manual 117kw "sportivo" ?? dont get confused with the corollas as the previous corolla sportivo was really something and completely different from the rest of the corollas.. for that money, you'd bettter off buying an Accord Euro with a 140kw engine.. besides its CBU Japan and better equipped with VSA comes standard
  6. thats rigiht! it's more obvious with the rear than the front.. hmm...
  7. Does ur corolla has a difference in height btw the left and right sides of the car? On mine, the gap btw the tyre and wheel arch is diff for the left and right... with the right side being lower (smaller gap) Is this a problem?
  8. no offence but i think they look cute like the ears of a hamster
  9. Circuit (White) 16": http://www.bobjane.com.au/clearance/pdf/ju...y_clearance.pdf The white one is very cheap at $71/ea Any1 here bought stuffs from Bob Jane during their current clearance sale?
  10. LoWang, I notice that your English is getting better and better since the day you first posted.. Hmmm
  11. Being new in Australia, I didnt know which insurance co is good so I picked RACV for both of my cars. Any comments on this one?
  12. Seen this ? http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/3545/55...0/corolla.2.jpg
  13. had the LED parkers sitting on my desk for 2 months now... still couldnt figure how to get the original parkers out
  14. $33,100 for a corolla??! ok, it's a corolla sportivo... never thought it could be so expensive
  15. Just had the 10,000km service at Brighton Toyota. Supplied them with my own oil as i wanted to test the casttrol edge sport 5w-30.. told them that i wanted to keep if there's any excess and know what? when i got it back, the entire 5L bottle was almost emptied - i thought they could have used some of it to oil the filter. i checked the dipstick when i got home and found it's half a inch above Full mark.. should i drain some out?
  16. got the car this morning.. everything's cool.. apparently, the car was an 'undriven' demo unit. it had 25km's on it when we picked it up.
  17. He doesnt know much abt cars but I convinced him thatt it was a steal... Gonna get it delivered this Wednesday. It'll be very much appreciated if anyone could share their experinces getting a new camry -- ie. anything particular to look out for, tell-tale signs of a lemon!, etc Very important coz it's a '05-compliant unit, hence the cheap price.. Thx in advance

    Flying Fox

I could see them flying around at night after sunset near my house.. Should I be calling some authorities to move them? Pretty scary sight & sound... they're BIG
  19. especially when I have shifted to 2nd and rev beyond 3000rpm. But it doesnt vibrate when I am cruising even at 100kmh. It only started recently.. do u reckon it's the wheel alignment/balancing? fuel lines/injector? gearbox???? My car has only done 9000km's
  20. maybe I was using the wrong term.. but there's surely something like a click-on thingy that we're supposed to pinch in order to release the parkers. on pg 275 of the manual, the 2nd diagram illustrates this by the 2 arrows pointing towards the center of the socket. i could feel the socket coming loose when i pinched on it, but space was too tight to pull back. felt as though i needed a tweezer or something to do the job will try again tomorrow :(
  21. The parkers are sure tough to fit.. i've been trying for 20mins but no luck.. how did you manage to remove the original parkers? The space in there was just too limiting, I could feel the 2 release clips that we're supposed to press but just wasnt enough space for my hand pull back. Did u have to remove some other components to make more space?
