thinking of getting a pair and from those pics that i see on the net, it looks like the package comes with a pair of blue-colored parkers in addition to the h7 bulbs. are those blue parkers legal? to those who're currently using the blue visions, what do u think of it?

now that we're takling abt service.. this K-mart service flyer says "Services carried out ... ensuring reliability and manufacturer's warranty".. does Toyota 'recognize' K-mart's work? just wondering coz it'll be a good alternative as they're everywhere, costs less, and lets u choose any engine oil :D

I wasreversing my car & bumped into something.. Now the rear bumper bar has a bulge and some sratches, will post some pics.. It's really nothing but hurts my eyes evrytime i look at it u know what i mean The car's still veyr new and I sort of coudnt decide if I should get a replacement or have it touched up.. How much does it cost to replace a new bumper?

just noticed there's a new range by castrol called Edge, which is supposed to replace the synth r series.. there's this castrol edge sport 5w-30 fully syn selling for $45.. which i think is a great buy.. any1 tried this?

Ditto, but I notice that this oil discolours more quickly (ie. doesn't 'last' as long) as whatever my dealer uses. I might try Mobil 1 at my next change, but also I don't want to use a 0W oil, especially in Summer. Discoloring might suggest that the oil was cleaning up the engine ? something it was meant to do

I m new to OZ.. There's a good variety of number plates that i see in VIC n I hope someone is able to tell me their differences and how to get them.. The "normal" type I presume are the blue text on white background with "Victoria - The Place To Be" at the bottom.. Another type only has the "VIC" letters, arranged vertically on the left.. Are these special plates? I know Australians have the privillege of having custom plates for their vechicles of up to 6 characters... This is very cool, You never get to have these at where I come from.. I wonder how much does it cost to have one Thx in advance :)

Where do u find Mobil 1 Gold 10W-30? All stores I've looked sell the 5W-50 only... Do u use a higher viscosity oil now that it's summer?

I was tired yesterday evening when I was diriving... Didn't fully depress the clutch when moving the gear from 1st into 2nd, causing some grinding noise *ouuch* What damage do u think I could have done to the gearbox?

Will they be arriving in OZ early 06? Do u think toyota will maintain the price?

Do u feel that the corolla's gear ratio is short? when cruising at constant 100kph, my tacho reads ~3200rpm, which i think is quite high for a 1.8l engine.

Hi gurus, My Ascent has clocked abt 800km's now and it's still pretty new. After getting the car for abt 2 weeks, I decided to stop by the gas station to have the tyre pressure checked. It was a digital meter at a BP station, so I could see the pressure reading. The rear right tyre was having 29psi, while the rest of the 3 were having 32psi (which was the right pressure for Corolla). Anyway, I thought maybe the dealer didn't do a good job, so I corrected it.. 3 days later, I decided to check again.. and to my surprise -- the rear right tyre was reading 31psi while the rest were still retaining 32psi. I knew something was wrong, I did a thorough visual inspection but couldnt find any nails in it... My wife did drive the car over a road kerb (at very low speed, she was making a U-turn), but I dont think that's the cause becoz I dont have alloys.. the steel wheels are tough as hell.. What could it be? Did I get a defective tyre from Day 1? Can I do a warranty claim on tyre from Toyota? Help....
