going by that logic, then it must be one of the sensors that are fouled. Just take it into a dealer so they can read the error codes. they should be able to tell you pretty easily which sensor is stuffed. like the oil pressure sensor

thats would be a first for a stivo ....... sounds like ur lift mechanism is playing up or the sensors arent seeing the right oil temp/pressure or the ecu is having complications ..... could be a few things here .... what does toyota have 2 say for themselves ? its happened to a few in South africa. a couple of guys i was chatting too took there stivos in to a mechanic and it was found that the bolts had worn

or otherwise known as heat soak. Denz i would say do a ecu reset. you should do one after every mod

maybe your lift bolts are wearing. how many kms on the stivo?

im keen! A mate of mine just came down from brizzy to purchase a Calibra 4x4 turbo in canberra. you might know the car its a navy blue colour.

for 1/3 of the price the sri is just as good. sucks bit better too as the piping isnt as long. (its longer than the TRD one for the stivos! ) there is sufficient air coming into the engine bay too and everything is kept cool with the top mount doing its job.

Im with bill on this one, also whats the deal with the stock airbox..... apparently the stock box with a panel filter is sucking better thans a cone. and the heat is better kept out too. They did some test with a heat sensor. More info will be on the way. hes only online during the week. Billy i agree with you! The guys thats did the conversion had the car for a while fiddling and farting around with the best way to put things in. alot of it is based on a 1zz conversion they did too. so basically they used the same plans with a few mods to get it to fit in the tigher spaces
