  1. stick with genuine Toyota oil !!Go to Toyota dealership parts buy the oil ( the oil in red color) :) you need two bottles ~

Don't listen to this advice, it is wrong. He is trying to get you to buy automatic transmission oil.

There are many manual transmission oils an 75W-90 would be fine. Toyota Genuine manual transmission oil is fine, or this(which I have used and am more than happy to recommend):

There are a couple of Toyota manual gearboxes that do use ATF though....

  2. $1394? Fuuucccccckkkkkkk lololol.

Well sydney roads are harsher on the suspension so yeah maybe it is possible for the struts to cark it after 100,000kms.

Did they show u the damage parts?

If u looking for OEM replacement, go rda rotors. Struts just get cheap ones. Don't go genuine. U will have to bend over n pay with ur @rsehole. Kikikikiki.

Bushings toyota not that expensive so just get them there.

  3. did they wash it while you sat there and looked? or did you self jet washed it? if you did it urself, ur pretty much fooked. if they did it, stick a massive pole up their ass (or asses if they have more holes than one) and shaft them to the insurance company.

there is NO WAY IN HELL that would just snap off like that. 3 bolts and nuts plus double sided tape you would have stripped off the paint first before snapping those bolts.

  4. It's been all done before. Not on one car though, but I've seen one with projectors for high beams and one with rings around the projectors...

Awww guess I'm not the first. I still haven't seen one around here though :P

now hopefully u sealed it properly or... HERE COMES THE CONDENSATION!

Yeah I made sure of it! That condensation problem is scary as! I even went for a carwash on the first day I finished :yahoo:

On an unrelated note, I sometimes see you around St Albans; mostly around Stradbroke Dr. To me and my brother, you're famous- the green stivo!!! ^_^

always see him hit lift it at ginifer station at a red light... lol
Cuz show off to da ladiezzzzzz
  5. Umm... I'm not quite sure about the ocv valves being faulting and the engine being able to turn over. Let's just say there was something wrong with the lift ocv. Lift wouldn't kick in. I'm not sure about the vvti ocv though. But my guess would be the car would run in limp mode and only can be revved to 4k.

Where abouts are in Victoria? If u are close to the western suburbs I might be able to take a quick look for u and give u a second opinion. I'm no mechanic but at least I'm pretty sure it's not the ocv that's faulty. Hold on to ur money first... Pm me ur details if u want me to come have a look.
