  1. Depends what type. I thought the single 1 or 1.5w wide angle would be great, but they suck. I ended up going for the 9 SMD (3chip) T10's. Much better spread of light, quite happy with the results. I didnt even try my CrystalVision T10's in the parkers so sorry i cant help there.

Am talking about the 25 SMD T10's which are are super bright.

  2. Dont forget CrystalVisions come with a pair of 4300k halogen parkers free.

lol, ah yeah I saw that.

Are the 4300k halogen parkers any good compared to the Super bright T10 LED parkers?

Cause if they are better than my current parkers, I might as well give them a go when I get my Crystal Vision.

Nope, the LED parkers are MUCH brighter. I used the Phillips T10s that came with the bulbs for the number plate ;)

  3. US$100 isnt steep postage. thats about right if not cheap! I wouldnt complain. My modellista Front and rear skirt ended up near AU$600 fpr shipping, plus customs duty(we wont talk about that now <_< grrrrr)

    Crystalvisions, Im happy with mine.

$100 bucks US shipping for the front lip only which they will fold in half and post to you in an soft bag of some sort, is a rip off. This bodykit is the flexi type and the only way they can ship it from Japan is by folding it in half ;)

Not the greatest of products but I guess you get what you pay for.

  4. Hi Mate,

I decided not to get any bodykit for the ZRE as I stopped doing any modifications to it given that it is only being used by my wife to drop the kids to school and back ;)

This is not the first car I used the Crystal Vision with and they're a great set of bulbs for Lo Beam. I can't say the same about any of the Phillips bulbs in terms of Hi beam, so that is why I left the Hi beam bulbs as standard.

The problem with the ZRE corolla is that it has 2 separate bulbs, one fo Lo and one for Hi beam, had it been one bulb, it would have been a good idea to upgrade to HID that has Lo-Hi Beam auto switching and there are some very good aftermarket HID kits on the market. I use HID on my Nissan xtrail and they are superb and don't blind other drivers. It doesn't make them road legal of course, as all cars equipped with HID must have auto-levelling at the very least.

  5. I will add to this thread what I have done to other threads with the same question. If you want to find the effects it will have on your speedo etc, use an online calculator like the following. This allows you to compare multiple tire/wheel sizes to help choose the right one:

    1010 Tires: Tire Size Calculator

I use THIS calculator for all my tyre and wheels purchases as it has an offset calculator as well and it has been very accurate so far, provided you input the correct data.

  6. Nope Pete, but the installation process is really simple and doesn't require any special wiring skills. The wires from the mirror covers go behind the door trim and through the top opening of the fender to join the turning signal indicators where they get the power from. You just need to splice the wiring of the fender indicators to join the LED mirror cover wires. That's all there is to it in terms of wiring.

  7. Hi Guys,

As some of you know I have added a cool set of ZRE LED Mirror Covers to my Corolla. I did import 2 additional sets for members who have ordered them but later on changed their mind due to shortage of funds, so these 2 sets are now available to 2 lucky ZRE owners to have.

They're brand new and come un-painted, so all you have to do is get them colour coded to match your ZRE as any smash repair shop. They'll probably charge you around $40.00 to paint them both.

Here is what they look like unpainted:

Here is how they will look on your ZRE after getting painted:

PRICE DROP TO $125.00/SET (INCL. REGULAR POSTAGE WITHIN AUSTRALIA) (originally priced at $165.00. A saving of $40.00)

Please send me a PM if interested and remember, Only TWO sets left!

  8. dude all my services come to $120 and that was 40k included, didnt u get a corolla advantage plus card????

I didnt buy my car brand new... it was an ex rental so I am not sure if they had some advantage card.

I bought my 07 ZRE Corolla second hand as well and didn't have this advantage card, but when I booked it in for the 40K service I asked them to check the VON on their system and they confirmed it was listed on the advantage program, so it only cost me $120.00

  9. My ZRE C-One strut bar has finally arrived today after over 9 weeks of waiting for it since placing the order with Motosports in Melbourne. I will never use these guys to order stuff from Japan again! What should have been a maximum of one week transaction to get it shipped by air, turned into a massive waiting period and empty promises that it will be here soon when in fact they combined it with a shipment they were getting delivered by sea freight and charged me air freight instead!

Anyway, am happy that it's here, now to find the time and energy to fit it, as I got a killer flu :(

Anybody wants to give me a hand? ;)

    Hi Guys,

I never got around to fitting the C-One strut bar to our ZRE, as I have been pretty busy with the new job I started end of November and to be honest, the car is not being driven all that much as am catching trains to work. I am thinking of selling this strut bar to someone that will put it to good use, as I can't see it helping my wife when she drives the ZRE at 30kms/hour max. speed LOL :)

If anyone is interested in scoring it, please drop me a PM and I will sell it to you for the exact price I got it for, which is $320.00 (pick-up)
